I L-O-V-E Major Dickason's Blend. It's rich, full bodied and complex and that's what I like. However, the 4-star rating is because it's somewhat variable in both the roast and the quality of the beans used in it. Sometimes, there are no 'clinkers' at all in the coffee and sometimes, there are a lot...far more than there should be in a premium coffee. Even when it's not quite up to snuff, it's still very good indeed.

I really can't tell the difference between this and the equivalent K-cup with a much older roast date. Maybe my taste buds are getting too old. Or maybe they do a terrific job of preserving the freshness of the K-cups. Or maybe they do a horrible job of preserving the freshness of their whole bean coffee. In any event, Peet's decaf is something to write home about......, but this is not. Of course, the taste of coffee is very subjective, so you mustn't take this review to the bank. If this review is read enough times by enough people, ya'll will have wasted as much time reading it as I did writing it.

Always loved it. When I lived near a Peet's store in Santa Monica I would have half Major and half Sumatra - a great blend. Been without Peets for a long time due to moves. etc. and gift of a Nspresso but finally couldn't wait and got a drip pot and Peets was the only place to go. But sorry to say your hazelnut mocha WAS TRULY HORRIBLE, threw out the opened package. Still have 2 - maybe can give away but doubt it as not only was the taste terrible but the aroma that usually from Peets is "can hardly wait for the first cup" filled he kitchen with a sickening sweetness. Am a Peetnik. once again and have loved for over 15 years. Thank you and keep the Major Dickenson coming!!!

I am not n adventurous coffee person, and I rarely buy a new brand. However, my husband came home with Peet’s and I was sold. I still have other brands I like just as well, but I like to splurge on Peet’s every so often and it’s a treat when I do. I prefer dark roasts as it’s less acidic.

Never heard about Peet's until recently. Loved it starting with my first cup, and ultimately became a subscriber to the series o try other tastes. Major Dickason's blend was simply awesome - smooth, yet bold (for not really knowing how to describe a taste). Whatever words are used to describe it, in summary "I'm hooked". One of the best coffees I've had - and I love my coffee. Highly recommended. Love is worth a try.

Delicious and richly balanced. We like other coffees from Peets too, especially their offerings from the South Pacific and Ethiopia and other parts of Africa. But this is a go-to favorite that we've ordered regularly for years when we need to update our monthly coffee shipment. Major Dickason's Decaf is excellent too.

I used to think the best smelling coffee was Maxwell House (lol). I use Peet's Major Dickasons in my Breville Barista Express, there is not a close second when it comes to making expresso for my latte's. My wife and I absolutely love these beans and can't imagine ever switching to another!

This has long been our favorite coffee for use in our Kierig. Now that we have an espresso machine and can grind our own beans, this remains one of our favorites. We both like bold, strong, full-flavored coffee, and Peet's Major Dickason's blend consistently delivers those qualities.

Maj Dickason’s was our first experience w Peet’s coffee. More than 10 years have passed since my husband wanted to get “some good coffee” for our week at a beach condo. He drinks this every day and I drink it when I am not drinking house blend as a reminder how much I still love it

I've been a huge fan of Peet's coffee for years! My everyday blend is Major Dickason's, I love the Italian Roast as my espresso drink go-to, and I am also a huge fan of Sumatra, French Roast, Aged Sumatra, and quite a few others. I started buying their whole bean coffees at the Menlo Park, CA, Palo Alto, CA, and Berkeley, CA locations 30+ years ago! It's convenient to receive them regularly on a subscription, since I now live 2000 miles from California, and have a difficult time finding my favorites in local stores here. Most do carry Peet's Coffee, but not the entire line and all of my favorites.
