I rec'd this via delivery and it was open and leaked all over my stuff... not sure how they missed it because it is pungent! :/ But that being said, I closed it and put in fridge.. opened it 3 days later to use and smelled so strong like WEED. We tossed it so not to take a chance on it being bad. Note to self: DON'T get it delivered.

This is great pesto! The flavor is wonderful, you can definitely taste the garlic, but it's not so overpowering that you don't taste the basil and parmesan cheese too. It's a perfect balance of the flavors. I used it hot- in pasta with spicy sausage and garden fresh tomatoes, cold - as a spread on toast with a slice of tomato, and also baked it right into a load of home made bread! It is so versatile. I also think the texture is just right. Not too big of chunks, but not smooth either, it's just right.

I make a very good pesto. And I have tried many off the shelf pesto's when I got lazy. This is better than my home made and the best off the shelf pesto I have ever eaten. I hope Member's Mark knows when they have a excellent product and won't try to cheapen it up to make more profit. Don't mess with perfection.

This is the best store bought pesto I've ever had. It is fragrant, robust, well balanced. It says on the bottle that it has a hint of garlic and u would say it is a little more than a hint but not overpowering. We loved it. I had it in my cottage cheese, we had it with chicken pasta, and on toast. It really was a treat. It was great cold or hot in pasta. The price was just right

This pesto has the right amount of flavor. It is easy to use for sandwiches and cooked meals.

I think this is one of the best deals Sam’s Club offers and the quality is excellent

its a rather large jar so I freeze it in smaller containers and have it when I need it
