Very salty and garlic-y but still good. However, I found it worked great as a base for broccoli pesto. Use as much thrawed frozen broccoli as in the jar and process it. This cuts down on the salt, garlic, and oil. Tastes better and has better nutrition.

This is a remarkable pesto sauce for being prepared, but buyer beware... twice I wound up with jars that had mold on top when first opening them. I'm not sure if this is a problem with the sealing of the product, a production line issue, or inadequate storage and handling. I simply know that MOLDY green is a color that does not go well with the traditional pesto green.

This pesto is excellent! It holds it's own against pricier pesto. The flavor was great, bold yet not overpowering. We paired it with a thick spaghetti and it was a delicious dinner. Next time I will use it as a sauce for pizza. Try it, you'll love it!

Fantastic

It tastes a little overpowering. The garlic is definitely noticeable but the basil tones it down. The olive oil keeps the whole thing together but what I like about it is how strong the flavor is. It doesn't compromise, it's really a pesto. That's what I enjoy.

Very good taste

The lid was loose and, although it appeared to be sealed under the lid, this product boiled up and out of the jar while in the pantry. It leaked oil and odor onto multiple items on the shelf. It had to be trashed and took a great deal of clean up and deodorizing to rid the smell. I will never buy it again.

I love garlic but can't taste anything but garlic in this oily mess. Says it has cheese but you can't taste it. And the cheap plastic bottle is not microwave safe. Probably been recycled too many times. I probably should have known better. Glass bottle, less garlic, and less cheap canola oil would be big improvements.

Tastes fresh and freezes well if you are unable to use the entire jar within the use by date.

So much flavor in this pesto.
