This igen5000dfcv generator is very quiet and fuel efficient. I opted for the recoil start for less maintenance of not worrying about a battery. It is very easy to pull start. The run time when loaded is about 14 hours on gasoline for me. With the small 3.4 gallon tank this makes it very fuel efficient. The ability to add a second igen5000 in the future for double the output makes this an attractive buy. It is not super light weight but it is still manageable for use on camping trips. I do look forward to purchasing another one in the future if I happen to need more power output.

Did the research, put my money on this and could not be happier!!!! Super quiet, runs on propane, remote start, fits perfectly in the bed of our F150 with a liner and Tonneau cover, fires up the AC in our camper with no problem at all, what more could anyone want??? If you can find it in stock you will not be disappointed I promise!!

I bought this generator this week, it seems to be a great value, I read and followed the start up instructions and it fired up easily, I have ran it on gas and propane, I have used the remote and the pull rope to start the generator and all seems to be working perfectly, I have been very impressed so far and would recommend this product

I just got this inverter snd I can already tell I made the right choice. Super easy to crank whether you use the electric start with the remote or pull the cord. Is powerful enough to run my 30 amp travel trailer with everything on, even the A/C. Even on propane! It does all this and barely makes a sound. In eco mode it is quieter than a dishwasher. Amazing product!

I purchased this generator for off-grid camper use as well as for emergency backup at home. It is highly user-friendly and has several advanced features. It is a bit large and heavy for use as a portable unit but the capacity for power generation is the other side of that coin. Ultimately, after much research, I think it is the best generator in its class.

Charged over night. Still won't start. I added a little extra fuel and it still won't start. I checked the connections on the battery and don't see anything loose still won't start. I added almost the entire bottle of oil it still won't start. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I checked to make sure the gas knob was turned to gas and that the eco knob was turned off to start and I unplugged the charger cord and it still won't start.

We needed a good generator to run our camper for boondocking and a back-up generator for home use. The iGen5000DFc is perfect. The dual-fuel capability is awesome and so convenient. It's small enough that a one person can handle it, albeit a strong adult person. We love it!

I bought this in Mid October 24 and used it at a tailgate for one of the Virginia Tech football games. So far it has performed up to its description. I'm impressed with the ease of operation and the quietness. I am using it for camping and as a light back up for the house in case the power goes out.

I bought this unit due to it having the duel fuel and other features of the three ways to start the unit. the only con I have is the oil fill tube requires it to be firmly screwed in when filling the unit with oil. The noise level is very quite for a inverter of this size.Very happy with my purchase

I needed a generator to use with our RV trailer. I live on the Gulf Coast with frequent Hurricanes. Due to the hurricanes gasoline is sometimes hard to find so I knew I wanted something dual fueled. I have used this generator for almost a year. It starts first time still. At 98lbs, I can load it on our truck. I have run my 4500 for over 15 hours on one tank of fuel, (I fueled it before it ran out of fuel). It came complete with everything you needed to use propane including the propane regulator. After using my generator for almost a year I am glad I picked the Westinghouse IGen 4500DF.
