Did the research, put my money on this and could not be happier!!!! Super quiet, runs on propane, remote start, fits perfectly in the bed of our F150 with a liner and Tonneau cover, fires up the AC in our camper with no problem at all, what more could anyone want??? If you can find it in stock you will not be disappointed I promise!!

I bought this a couple weeks ago, my husband forgot gas for it. We have the dual fuel generator, so we just hooked it right up to the propane tanks on our camper and it worked wonderfully! Very quiet, the remote start is an amazing feature as well! We were able to run AC, coffee pot, and my hair tools all at one time!

Just picked up this afternoon. I am betting on the over 7k 5-star ratings. I have been comparing brands, models, and sizing for months. I even considered purchasing two smaller units and running them in parrallel. This unit although a little heavier once on the ground has a telescoping handle and wheels. Will run the camper AC, can be used at camp, and will also keep the essentials running during a power outage. Dual fuel and remote start/stop are really nice.

I bought this April 2019 from Home Depot online. Arrived very quickly to the store for pick up. Good packaging and instructions. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Powers my camper effortlessly with air conditioner. Runs well on gas and propane, nice feature is the remote starter. Received many compliments on how quiet it is and questions while camping.

Unit arrived quickly and with no physical damage. Started right up on propane, but kept surging on idle. Contacted customer service and they are sending a new carburetor for me to replace, if I feel handy enough. If not, they offered for me to take it to a authorized shop. I will wait and see what is involved. Part is on its way. If it wasn't for the carburetor issue, I would give 5 stars. Really meets my needs.

Did the initial break in period and so far works great. Wish the propane line was longer. Seems to take two to three push on the start button to make it start on propane, but it does start and runs well. Did some testing on db, and so far not getting the 52 db, but need to get better testing equipment to totally test this. A little on the heavy side, but manageable. Not sure why it comes with a remote start, because documentation says not to start the generator with load on, therefore, in most case you would have to go disconnect the load on the generator before starting it anyway.

I bought this unit last year and unpacked it but didn’t get to run it because of traveling and other issues. I did test it and ran it on propane gas and connected it to my rv and it worked great for the hour that I ran it. I also ran it a second time for approximately the same time and the unit did well and shows only 30% load so I felt satisfied and have waited to use it on a real trip and use it for longer period of time, but up till now it is a super quiet unit and shows it will handle the load that I need.

I wanted a backup generator that wasn't too big like an open frame model. But I also wanted an inverter model that was more powerful than most inverter models. Finally, it was important for me to get a dual fuel generator. The iGen 4500DF fits the bill perfectly.

Instructions say in order to drain the oil, remove the fill plug and lay the generator on its side. That is crazy, why not remove the 10mm drain plug bolt and leave the unit in the normal upright position? I have ran my travel trailer with a 15K BTU AC and microwave at the same time using this IGen 4500 DF in the gasoline mode, so far so good. I have put a total of about 20 minutes on this generator.

I ordered the iGen4500DF in early June and it finally arrived in late October. I added oil and hooked up the battery and ran the generator on propane. The generator ran fine and started with both the start button on the control panel and the remote. I removed the access panel to look at the air cleaner and noticed that one of the plastic tabs used to hold the panel in place had broken and was still in place in the rubber grommet which retains the tab when the panel is closed. I have added a couple photos of the broken tab. I am disappointed that this broke the very first time I removed the access panel, I hope the rest of the generator holds up much better than the panel did! Time will tell whether the generator turns out to be a good reliable piece of equipment.
