I did a lot of research and decided to go with this model. So far it has been great. The design is clean and it is well made. The manual is really well done. I have been using it with a 5th wheel and have just over 20 hours on it. It always starts up smooth and is fairly quiet. My only complaint is the fuel gauge has not worked since I got it almost a month ago. The LED data center has read empty the whole time and the remaining run time always shows zero. I have refilled it once already. I will call customer support and can hopefully get it resolved.

Remote start and dual fuel are great features on this generator. Very quick setup with simple instructions. Started effortlessly! Tried remote start from second floor of my home with generator located outside of my garage on first floor and it controlled it ON/OFF perfectly.

I am hugely impressed by this product! It has all of the features I wanted--inverter, dual fuel, very quiet, remote starting, easy to move around--and it comes with everything needed to get it up and running immediately, including a quart of oil. Perfect for my needs as a backup when the power is down.

I purchased this generator on 6/7/22, but received it on 9/2/22. Even though delivery took 3 months, I am very pleased with the generator so far. I purchased it in planning for any/all future power outages. Now, I feel much more secure knowing that my family and I are prepared for those eventualities.

It is exceptionally quiet, very portable and very user-friendly making this a smart choice for when you need more power but don’t want to give up on silence and portability. Monitoring of the iGen4500DF's status and activity is made possible by a digital data center, which provides information on the remaining run time, power output, fuel level, lifetime run hours and voltage and is one of the main features that will help with monitoring operation and maintenance scheduling. The dual fuel feature allows for real life options in an emergency or planned usage for portable power. My usage will be as a homeowner in need of emergency backup power for my essential loads. Setup and initial operation was simple and straight forward, due to the excellent documentation that was obviously written by competent Westinghouse engineers. I highly recommend this product.

I just purchased this for use when we go dry camping for both power and recharging our battery bank. It had the dual fuel, electric start and remote start that I was looking for and appears to be the quietest on the market. The true test will come this fall. It came well packaged.

Happy i bought it, put about 25 hours on it. Runs good, quiet. efficient on gas as well. Loving the purchase. Con no gas stop or shut off in the gas line. Didn't like the oil plug location, but suppose you can just tip it over while using the oil nozzle they include would be worried about metal left in the oil pan with just tipping.

Available power along with dual fuel feature for price sold me on this unit Just purchased so only thing I can report on at this point is how quiet this unit is. Oil and funnel supplied, which is very convenient Started after 3 pulls out of box, electric start was not available due to battery not being adequately charged

I just received my igen 4500. Quiet, compact and lots of power for its size. I’ll be using for my refrigerated trailer rental business. Just did the break in period and used propane. It’s a duel fuel so I have options. This is the same generator as the onan one but just a different housing and much cheaper. Quality looks great.

attached wheels and feet, added oil. Directions very clear. started right up. Battery charged and key fob remote start all worked as advertised. Feel much better having this backup given the severe weather seems to come more and more frequently these days!
