Great little generator. A lot quieter than my 7500. works just the same. Duel fuel makes it very versatile. Only issue relates to the specification disclosed on the website - Height was shown as 20 inches but it is actually 20.5 inches, appears they didn't include the gas cap. It just barely fits in my truck bed under the topper. Would be better if it was 20 inches as advertised!

We lose power frequently. Having a big generator that makes a lot of racket I wanted something that was smaller and quieter to run overnight. This generator fits our needs perfect to power 2 sump pumps, 2 refrigerators 1 freezer and some lights. Can't beat this generator for the price.

This genny had all the features I wanted and then some. I think the igen4500DF had some drawbacks at first: people reported choke problems, gummed up carb, some other starting issues but I think Westinghouse got it sorted out because mine arrived and after following the instructions for setup it started second time on propane and ran great. All features are functional and the thing is soooo quiet.

I year ago I bought a conventional open generator, not realizing just how loud they are. It’s so loud I really can’t use it in my neighborhood without annoying everyone around. This Westinghouse inverter is so much quieter that it shouldn’t be an issue. The generator seems to be well made and has useful features like USB outlets and a running time meter. I plan to use it for emergency power to run refrigerators and a portable air conditioner since we regularly lose power in our area. I have great confidence that this generator is more than up to the task.

I purchased the IGen4500DF in September of 2019 and I am very glad I did. After spending considerable time reviewing portable generators, I choose the IGenn4500Df due the very favorable reviews and being one the the very few dual fuel inverter generators on the market. Set up was very easy with the detailed manual and supplied equipment. Over the past month, I have used the generator to power numerous items. On each occasion the generator has started immediately and has exceeded my expectations.

I bought this generator over a year ago and waited until now to do a review, based on real life use of this product. I found it to be very dependable and it started immediately every time with the push button start with no issues. we charged our phones, computer, a freezer, and our refrigerator for 2 days. Every 3 months or so I plugged in the battery charger overnight and it started right up the next day. I am confident that this generator will be ready to perform when we need it. I totally recommend it as a great insurance policy to meet your power needs.

Haven't used it yet. I received a recall long before the unit was delivered. Still discerning if I'm reading the serial number correctly? I would of gave it 5 stars if not for the recall, hope I can someday say. Long after the price has been paid and long forgotten, the quality still remains!

i bought this to run my pumps when my house floods. the duel fuel is the ticket and what can be better than remote start. I just followed the set up and starting guidelines pulled the rope, started on 3rd pull. turned it off and pushed the start button , boom started right up. turned it off again and used the remote and again great start. no reason to fool around plugged in my chop saw and cut away its 15 amps... so yea I'm ok so far. feeling like I made the correct choice

We purchased this generator as first time travel trailer owners. We wanted something versatile that we could use in the event of planned PG&E power shut offs at home too. This generator has checked all the boxes and then some. Remote start is super convenient, there is a suitcase handle for easy relocation and the dual fuel feature is super convenient.

I bought the IGEN4500DF for RV boondocking and home backup power. Love the remote start when in the RV and I can connect it to my remote propane port at the rear of my trailer. It's very quiet near idle and fairly quiet even when running at full bore. This is only only generator I could find with propane, auto-choke and remote start. Very happy with the purchase!
