Worked great during recent power outage. This 5000w inverter unit worked very efficiently, and was enough to power my portable ac unit and 3 refrigerators. Much more quiet than my neighbors standard generators. Easy to set up. May get another one and pair them together.

I bought this generator prior to Hurricane Beryl and am glad I did. When the power went out, we had plenty of capacity to power a refrigerator, tv, router and a handful of fans. The generator is fuel-efficient and ran for quite some time (gasoline) - I like the ability to power the generator with propane as well.

Great product. No remote start, but smooth easy starting pull. Nice tool kit especially threaded oil filler tube. Filled with minimal mess. Nice access panels. Very quiet compared to standard gen. 80dB right in front at controls at 50% load. Eco mode awesome. Idle speed at no load and RPM only increases based on load. Handled 2K watt microwave only 50% load using 30amp plug with 30amp to 20amp adapter from Harbor Freight. Nice LED display of power, volts, and run time. Propane easy to use. No mess, fuel additives or storage problems. Can use gas, but I plan to keep using propane.

This is my first experience using a generator. The instructions were clear and the appliances we need to run during a power outage all run just fine without straining this power output. Having this generator adds another layer of safety to our household. The only design flaw I found was that one has to unscrew the oil funnel, screw in and unscrew the cap to check the levels - kind of messy. I can't think of a better solution though, and it's a small inconvenience.

Just purchased this generator. Out of the box I am quite impressed. Fired right off on propane. The remote starter works extremely well, tried it 40 feet away and behind obstacles, EXCELLENT. Bought it to use while remote camping at the lake. I'm hoping the unit will allow us some creature comforts of home, including A/C on those unbearably hot days (nights). I bought about a month ago online and was delivered to my door within 4 days. We are using this thing daily and night until we get power installed on property. It’s so quiet I don’t even hear anymore. It’s easy to use and although it’s not anywhere close to the size of other generators’ it’s still pretty big. My only negative is that it has a propane option but it burns it slot faster than gas. But it’s still good to have in case you run out of gas you know you have a backup.

I purchased an iGen4500df last month and after unboxing, realized the starter had broken apart from engine. Returned item, reordered and received new unit in two days. Used the following weekend and worked without a hiccup. After unboxing, connected battery, filled with the provided oil, gassed it up and it started first push of the starter button. Although initial unit had problems, I would definitely recommend this product due to the features you get in this price range.

We bought this generator for an out of town RV trip that we were taking. We knew we would have no hookups and this helped to power the hotwater in the RV as well as lighting and fans. It was a wonderful addition to our trip. We also have lost power a few times since our trip that this generator has saved all of our food from our fridge and freezer. We used it to power the fridge and freezer and only went through 5 gallons of gas over 3 days.

I bought this because of all the extra features you don’t see on other models of this size and power. Love the fuel level, time remaining and load level that is all found at a quick glance. Packaging was well done as the delivery service was not so gentle with it. Wheels make it easy to move around once you wrangle it from the box with some help.

Going out this week on our first boondocking and (use). Checked all out and it is purring like a cat. No effort to start and starts fast. Can't believe how quiet this is. Love the gauge that lets us know how much time we have left on fuel. Plug outlet for 30a and will furnish all our needs for power. I let my wife start it....she loves it!!! Great piece of equipment.
