Been waiting a year to find someone who has in stock. Really wanted the dual fuel for convenience (always have a propane tank or can get one easily). Preferred the smaller inverter model for clean power but enough juice to power critical needs. Initial make-ready was simple. Suggestion - place on top of your workbench to make it easier! Electric start is great! Started the first time and ran smooth. I think this will be a nice back up for when we lose power.

This is the quietest generator I've ever been around, even with a metal lean-to roof overhead and a few feet from a wall on one side and a fence on the other. I've used it only with propane so far, for which it ran great. Changing the oil mildly annoying since it's in an enclosed space but that's just the way these closed frame generators are. I would buy a second one if I have a need for another in the future.

We purchased this generator as first time travel trailer owners. We wanted something versatile that we could use in the event of planned PG&E power shut offs at home too. This generator has checked all the boxes and then some. Remote start is super convenient, there is a suitcase handle for easy relocation and the dual fuel feature is super convenient.

I just bought this inverter generator. I live at 6500 feet above sea level, so I was a little concerned that it might not work well. I also decided to use it with propane (which reduces the number of kilowatts that can be used). It started right away! Then I plugged in my motor home with the refrigerator on and it still worked great. After that, I turned on the air conditioner in my motor home to see how it would work with that, and it also kept plugging along! As an added bonus, it is very quiet for a generator. I'm very happy with my purchase!

I brought generator right home and couldn’t wait to get it running. Just select your fuel and start it up. Runs nice and quiet. Plenty of AC power. Easy to move around with attached handle. Plus, you can’t beat the remote start/stop. Especially when it’s raining.

The compact size with this amount of power is perfect for my needs. I really like the dual fuel system so I am not dependent on just one fuel source. It is quiet and I was able to power what I needed during our latest power outage and it just purred away without any issues.

I just took delivery of my new Westinghouse igen4500DF. Very simple to prepare for operation! Extremely quiet when running. Starts with key fob, push button, and pulling the starter rope is very easy. I looked for days to find what I wanted, and this was worth the wait! I love the Duel Fuel feature! Propane is so much cheaper than gas. We got this for our new camper and can't wait to hit the road!Thanks Westinghouse!!!

Just received the unit and installed it. Everything is great, except filling in the motor oil is messy. The funnel neck is not long enough and it is difficult to pull in oil without spilling it. Also, can't tell how much oil is just enough to fill the tank but not to overflow it. I would suggest to provide the exact amount of oil so that the new user knows how much it is needed.

This unit ( iGen5000DFc ) is a sweet little powerhouse for pretty much any 120 volt application. We live in a rural setting with frequent, but usually limited duration power outages, and can't justify the cost of a permanently installed backup generator, so having temporary power just by running a few cords is real peace of mind. Our typical setup includes 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, coffee maker, furnace, sump pump, a couple of floor fans, WiFi and a/v equipment. Plus a few lamps and power strips. So far it works great. Easy set up, and quiet operation. No regrets.

Bought on Nov 2021, never use till last month when Beryl went through, lost power, for a day, the generator started fine, quiet, ran for about 7 hours and shut down itself because of low oil level, oil was leaking all over my ground , wait couple hours for cool down, filled the oil back up, ran for 5 , 6 hours later, it leaked oil to empty and shut down again…..I’ve been tried to contact Westinghouse to see if they can do anything about that, I know it’s been 3 years, but still , it’s brand new…
