I bought this prior to a cross country trip in our travel trailer, “just in case.” I ended up needing it twice while on the trip. The unit was quiet and easy to run. The remote start was also great so I didn’t have to get up in the middle of the night to get it going!

I'm 64, my husband is now 74 and our old generator, though worked like a champ, requires pull start and we are too weak at our advanced age to get it started. I chose this generator because I trusted the Westinghouse brand AND because of the push electric start. It's AMAZING. We only use the generator when the power goes out as we are in snow country and the power can go out for several days at a time in a bad storm. Have it primed and started it with the key fob ... so cool ... and it started right up.

Received this today..couldnt wait to open it up and get it running. box was in near perfect condition which tells me a lot about the freight handlers ( I worked in trucking for thirty years). p[ut oil in ..hooked up the propane hose ..read the instructions..and all is good! Can't wait to go camping. thanks.

I got this for Xmas. I ran a bunch a tests on it and it looks good. I needed to have something easy to use and maneuver. Just looking to be able to keep a pellet stove and a few lights going in an emergency. The remote start / push button start was a must for my wife to use while I am away if needed. It is a little heavier than I wanted, but the telescopic handle makes it fairly easy to move around. It is quieter than I expected.

I originally purchased another brand and returned it due to price and lack of features. This generator is a well engineered product with only one issue that I ran into. The auto choke did not work initially, but was resolved using the posted bulletin.

I just received my 4500 dual fuel generator, that I purchased for my Fifth wheel RV. It has the features I was looking for, including dual fuel, 30 amp plug, and enough amperage to run air conditioners and more. I unboxed the unit, filled it with oil, hooked up the battery and started it on LP, using the remote control. It started right away and ran properly. I have not yet tested the output or used the unit, but I looking forward to giving it a try. I gave this 4 stars, only because I have not used it in working conditions.

Just bought a. Opulent of weeks ago. So far everything is as advertised. put the oil and gas in, hooked up the battery and it fired right up with the remote fob, the push button start and the recoil cable. A little louder than I anticipated (not as quiet as a conversation as claimed) but perfectly acceptable, especially considering it’s size. Looking forward to using it on a two week trip soon.

I have not used this yet under a big load but it seems like it will work, it appears to be well protected against the weather but in the manual it says to keep it out of the rain and snow. That's when I will need it most so maybe it was not a good choice, I'll find out.

I bought what seemed to be the last iGen4500DF in stock in the US from Acme Tool (a fine, family owned, upper Great Plains company) who worked with me to have it to me in time for a prolonged time on the road. Thank you Acme! Just the fact that it was in such short supply speaks to good features and performance, not supply chain issues. This has to be the easiest-to-use piece of technology I've purchased. Push a button, whether on the unit or on the remote, and you have "angry pixies" to run all the things you can't do without. And the neighbors aren't any the wiser that you have the benefit of power when they may not. It is light enough to lift into the back of a pickup, starts so easily that I don't have to break a sweat, is quieter than the AC unit it drives, and can run on both gasoline and propane. I look forward to using the retractable pull handle the next time I take it with me on my next commercial flight. (Not really, but it pulls as easily as many checked bags.) This generator is my go-to over a white labeled, open-frame, Honda driven 7800W generator. And

I just got this on time shipped direct. I started without any issue (recoil start only version). It is very quiet compared to another brand traditional generator. There was no damage to the generator during shipment. I have only done a quick test and it puts out power. Time will tell but this is only a power outage backup so it won't get heavy use (Hopefully!!)
