I bought the IGen4500 Dual Fuel about two weeks ago and just finished the super easy set up. The product came damage free, was packaged very nicely and the set up even for a guy who’s never owned a generator before was pain-free! My initial though upon start up, is how quiet it is! The remote start paired easily and it has been running for 30 minutes already while I write this! I look forward to using this over many years!

Went threw a couple generators before finding this beauty for my 30 ft airstream with two air conditioners. Easy to setup and get going. Paired it with 2 micro air easy starts and it easily runs both air conditioners. Love the digital display so that I can easily look at the generator to see remaining fuel and current load.

I bought this generator before going on a boondocking trip and am glad I did. This generator has made my trip so easy and comfortable. It powers everything in my camper and is not loud at all. The dual fuel is an awesome feature. I highly recommend the Westinghouse quality.

I like the generator well enough to order this one being the second one I own. The features are there, thesound level is good, the ease of use and portability. I do have a compaint, my first one won,t start, I have read all the reviews and tried all the quick fixes. I would have to say coustomer sevice, is almost nonexistant. The phone calls get cut off after being on hold for ever, when you finally get someone it is a operator, telling you to get on line, to submit you questions or orders. At this time my online contact has not been addressed. It is too bad that a good product has such bad followup. I hope to get some responce soon, living in a rual area is a problem, being you have to find and take it to one of there approved, repair shops, in order for it to have warranty parts replaced with no labor paid for, for my situation that requires 200 miles of travel to get it back home and lots of down time.

I have been waiting for these to come back in stock, and I am so pleased to now have this dual fuel generator. I always have propane tanks on hand, but hate storing gasoline, so this is perfect for our uses. Much quieter than open frame generators, and the remote start is a useful addition. The low THD allows this to power our smart fridge and sensitive electronics, something the open frame generators cannot do. I am very pleased Westinghouse, thank you!

I bought the IGEN 5000DFC yesterday. I found this unit to provide lots of great features. The multi display is outstanding and provides full status of the unit while operating. The dual fuel option is really a great feature as well. A couple items that I found could be improved: 1) The manual is vague on the operation. Fails to say how to turn the unit on specifically & how to turn it off. I figured it out & its simple.by pushing the round start button to turn on & also to turn it off. 2) Read the manual fully before operating. Fortunately I did this. The unit ships without any fluids in place. Must service the engine oil before you start it. 3) Engine oil service port is small & difficult to get into if you have larger hands. Otherwise, This is a great unit. Quiet and delivers as expected.

We purchased this unit to replace our older Non-Inverter Generator. Our new central heating unit has a brain (computer) control board and requires clean power whereas the old unit did not. We will also be capable of keeping our refrigeration units, computer, digital telephones, and a home oxygen unit powered as needed. The dual fuel option is a great backup as well. With power outages becoming more often and longer durations this unit is what we need when we need it to support todays technology in power outages and nothing can replace peace of mind.

I just bought this iGen5000DFc Inverter Generator a few days ago and have since pulled it out of the box and fired it up. It started with no problem and it has all the features I think I will need to weather short term (1-2 weeks) power outages due to hurricanes, freezes and wind storms. Yes - I live in Texas.

Just completed unboxing and start up. Reasonably quick process and loved the quick start guide. Love the ease of starting (remote start is a dream), dual fuel option, and especially the quiet operation! I anticipate years of service for our camp trailer.

Purchased this for upcoming winter preparation. Initial testing went great on both gasoline and propane fuel. Was able to start via the push-button, pull-handle, and remote all as expected. Quiet (for a generator) operation, couldn't even hear it inside certain rooms of the house. Power output was smooth and as expected.
