Generator works as advertised, however when I open the box there was oil in the bag it was shipped in. There was motor oil on the bottom of the box and motor oil leaking out of the bottom of the unit. I sent information to Westinghouse support and they answered quickly and told me that this is normal.

Operates as advertised, very heavy and relatively quiet. Will not operate with auxiliary propane line from camp trailer. Nowhere in the manual or web description does it identify how much propane pressure is required. Will only operate directly from a portable tank.

Purchased new in the box. Won’t idle choke problem. Choke keeps opening and closing repeatedly. Called service and after over 1 hour on hold I got a customer service rep. This rep is not a Tec support person. She had no way to transfer me to service. She took my number and here I wait for a call back this is day 2. Store I bought from refuses to take a return

The generator seems to be a well made piece of equipment with all the advertised features. Started up with the second push of the remote start button. Made slightly more noise than I had expected. We ran it for two hours on propane and had no problems. Generally, well satisfied with this piece of equipment. Still new.

I bought the iGen 4500DF for the dual gasoline/propane feature so I would always have backup fuel. I also like the running and peak watts to run my air conditioner, residential refrigerator, micowave, and television simultaneously. It is quiet and the remote start is a bonus.

The generator just arrive today, filled with oil, connected battery and propane, hit the remote button, she turned over a few times and fired up. I thought it was eco mode it didn't sound like it was revved up much, looked at the switch and it wasn't, flipped to eco mode and was shocked at how quite it is. Yes i am coming from and old regular generator and it is truly amazing at the very low sound level. Cant wait to put it to real world use.

Ordered this unit and first one was beat up by shipper so I refused the package. The sent me another unit and was in much better condition. Took unit out of box and and noticed back cover was not lined up with the blue sides and saw that the back cover was missing two screws. I did the setup and started it on propane and it started on first try. The generator runs great on propane but not in the eco mode it wants to surge but with non-ethanol gasoline it runs great in both modes. Much quieter than I thought. For all of you looking at YouTube videos the digital meter looks like it’s flashing but when you are running it the meter looks normal. I will be 101% satisfied once my screws are replaced and the surge is taken care of in the propane eco mode. I will post some video but my phone makes it sound much louder than it really is. Grab one you won’t be sorry!

I bought this inverter generator 3 days ago. It was very well packed in its box, user manual is very good. I set up the unit added oil and tested it, runs and works good. only one problem is I am missing the remote start fob, I will be getting a hold of service center for help

I bought this for emergency for when not if my house power goes out and it worked great. It started up first try and has always worked. So for only used propane and it worked great, i had no issues with it starting or shutting off or overload issues. It was really quiet for the power that it generates. I recommend this generator. I will continue to test it but so far so good

Finally found the ideal generator for our RV camping. Powerful enough to run our A/C, quiet enough to camp, dual-fuel capable for flexibility, and remote starting for convenience. Add to that, great value for the money. I’m sure we’ll enjoy this generator!
