I bought this for when we have power outages an i really like how quiet it is .i always take out any generator i buy an run it for the break in period,that way i dont have to worry about it when theres an outage .It was so simple to setup an fired right up with the key fob straight outta the box.only thing i could say i didnt like about it is that the propane hose is kinda short an it doesnt have a quick connect but on the other hand it could be a good thing because a quick connect might be more prone to leaking after using it time an time again .but i cant really say theres anything bad about it ,great quality control ,this thing was built good an it shows an runs like it .Thank you for another great product westinghouse!

We recently purchased a toy hauler and had been shopping for a dual generator. We found this generator online and could not be happier. The 5000 did not disappoint! Generator started right up and put out the power it stated that it would. This generator will accompany my family on many trips to come! Great product at a great cost!

Bought couple weeks ago. Just started last night ran last night for five hours for the break in period. Ran with out a hitch. Used a small griddle plate to vary the load while testing. The screw in funnel to add oil was a nice addition. Do read the manual first the quick start guide doesn’t talk about the break in period or we have some cool weather here and was thinking about starting out with the synthetic oil which is not recommended during the break in period.

About a month ago I bought this generator and last week we lost power. Ended up running it 22hrs straight for lights my refrigerator and deep freezer as well as 2 fans. Also had my neighbor plug in for 10hrs with my stuff he had a refrigerator and a fan with a few lights gen ran at 25% every once in a while hit 50% . Never cut out and kepted running. Couldn't be happier

Just bought it and set up for gasoline and propane. Seems to run well with a 1875 Watt hair dryer and a 500 watt work light. The gauge displayed about 50% load. Bought for my 5th wheel next year with a 15000 BTU A/C unit. My previous two 2000 Yamaha gens in parallel couldn't always start the A/C in hot weather.

I have only had the iGen4500DFc generator for a few weeks, but it has worked flawlessly so far. After adding the oil and connecting th battery, it fired on the 1st try with both gasoline and propane fuel. I was surprised how quite the unit is as well. I prefer the inventor closed type to the open type.

Just picked up today, great features and plenty of quiet power for the money. I purchased as an emergency backup power source. I was using a 2000 watt that struggled to power 2 refrigerators, freezer, tv, lights and computer and phone chargers. the igen4500df will handle all that and more. Solid build with many features. And I can use propane or gas, very happy with this unit

After this last winter of no power for 5 days, we bought this generator just in case it happens again. It is easy to setup. My only complaint was where you hook up the propane connection was not clear. Other than that, very easy to setup and get running.

Just purchased and broke this inverter in. It switches between gas and propane without shutting down which is very nice. Ultra quiet and runs smooth. Unit arrived with a broken access panel. The customer service rep I spoke to was very polite and made getting a replacement sent out a non-issue. Excellent customer service and am pleased with my order just for that.

I bought this in 2021 tried it out for about 2 hours, worked great. After 1 year sitting tried it out and started right up, no problem ran for 2 hours for RV AC and few more hours for other things, worked great. This year tried to start n hard to start ran ruff then settled. Ran RV AC a few hours, then turned off. following week tried to start n WONT START!!! Only 15 Hours on it. Not Happy!!!!
