I’ve long had a VERY NOISY generator to use as home back up. So noisy that immediately after power is restored if I don’t turn the generator off immediately i get banged with a list of text requests to Please turn it off from neighbors. The unit arrived on time , no damage. Very easy set up and VERY quite comparatively. Starts very easy and I love the built in battery tender.

This was the easiest new equipment start up ever. Opened the box, took it out. Hooked up the battery per the very good instructions, and added the oil. Connected it to the propane tank and pushed the start button on the remote FOB. It started right up on the first try. Wow this was so easy. I did a lot of research and comparing, read hundreds of reviews. This was a great decision. I will be using this for my RV and for power outages at home. I purchased a cargo carrier with a ramp, so I can roll this generator on to it, never having to lift it. The extending handle on this generator makes it VERY easy.

Received the iGen4500DF yesterday. It was packed well and had no apparent damage. The unit started easily on LP but I didn't have proper gas to try. Everything seems to operate as it should. Will test it with loads soon and report with a new review. I see no reason at this time to rate this portable generator anything but a 5. Really do wish that gen cover would be for my size unit!!!

I bought this for my food trailer because traditional generators give me a headache, they are way too loud. This is the quietest that I have ran across, I really love it, so much so we are selling our large, loud generator to purchase another to chain together for our house needs.

Just un boxed . GOOD :Easy setup comes w/ f funnel & oil to put in clear instructions. Started ridght up by push button & remote . Ran well on Propane though it seemed to pulse when not under load .However it did that in Gas mode also . Ran for about 3 hrs so far . Not GOOD: battery compartment cover missing .Propane fuel line supplied w/ regulator seems to short placeing tank to close to Gen . Remote works well though limited signal distance which could be improved . Oil fill made for tiny hands dipstick for fill to far back & hard to reach . Overall seems to be good came with 3 yr warranty . HF preditor same model same price only had 1 yr . will see in the coming weeks how well it powers 5th wheel trailer A/C unit .

After many hours of research I found myself coming back to the Westinghouse igen4500df generator. It checked a lot, if not all, of the boxes I was looking for. - Inverter style generator? Check. - Capable of running 30 amps to power ac in camper? Check. - Can run propane OR gasoline? Check. - Wheels for easy transport? Check. - Remote start (or button, or pull chord)? Check. Really looking forward to running this during our first tailgate with the camper this weekend. Will follow up at the end of the season for a couple month follow up!

We were anticipating a pretty significant snow storm here in Northwest Kentucky. Y to he night before it’s arrival I tried to start my 20 year old generator. Always worked well, but locked up this time! I bought this Westinghouse Dual Fuel 4500 unit as the storm began. In 20 minutes I was up and running! No pulling cords to start: the battery did it all! The sound level is so much better than my previous generator. This is a great find.

It's time for snow and freeze in Texas again. This time I'm ready. I tested out the generator and it worked better than I hoped. I like that it runs on propane. I feel much better about storing propane for emergency use than gasoline. If I need to switch to gas it won't be a problem.

This generator is awesome! Ease of use and choice of fuel or propane if sources are unavailable. Hookups and plug ins are user friendly and easily accessible. Its not so big and bulky and fits right where we need it to be to get it up in a hurry! Great product , great price!

I got this generator today and it seemed pretty nice right out of the box. I followed the instructions for startup, and it started right up with no issues. It is a little louder than I expected, but it is still acceptable. My first impression is a good one.
