Powered two fridges, internet modem, a couple lights and then periodic comfort items such as an espresso machine (it felt that one!), toaster, heater, Xbox, and a tv (not all at once of course). While no generator is super fuel efficient, this one is SIGNIFICANTLY more fuel efficient and much much quieter than our neighbors tradition generator. Would definitely buy again!

Bought this unit for my travel trailer and home emergencies. The unit feels very solid and well built. It's noise level is better than I expected. I like all of the features and the meter display is nice, so there's no guessing when to change the oil and other routine services. Very complete package with great manuals. Haven't taken it boon-docking yet and I'm excited to use it Great warranty compared to other makes.

I bought this to power up our camper, this is our first camper, to include first owned generator. With everything running, were only at 50% power, with AC running full max. It's quiet, and the duel fuel is great for Boondocking- no gas, no problem, flip a switch and GO! 5 out 5 stars all the way!

I bought an iGen5000DFc (why is it also referred to as iGen4500Dfc?) about two weeks ago and all I have done with it so far is ran the break-in period for about seven hours and changed the oil after the initial oil fill. The unit appeared to have had a hard drop during shipping. Both the upper and lower styrofoam packing was broken and both access panels were popped open. There was a hole in the shipping box and the battery strap is missing. The User Manual is vague and in some cases misleading regarding the operation of the unit. There is a great deal of warning information but operating and maintenance information took reading and rereading and visits to Youtube to figure out. There is very limited information regarding the Data Center but I eventually figured out most of it on my own. My biggest problem was with the small sizes of the two access panels. After skinning up my hands plugging in the battery and searching for the still missing battery strap I went to the oil access panel and used the screw in funnel that was provided for the initial oil fill which worked out good. After the five hour recommended break-in period I wanted to change the oil which I do on all my new engines. This was a problem. The block drain fitting does not line up with the access panel but after some finesse and more skinned knuckles I drained the oil. Putting the fitting back in was another problem but with a combination of wrenches, sockets and duct tape got the job done. I suggest having your engineering designers take a look at this issue as I expect it to be a problem for many unless they have access to some special wrenches and small dexterous hands. This is my third Westinghouse iGen generator and the best one yet. We have a 2200 and 2000 that we have to parallel so we purchased this 5000 with the remote start and dual fuel because we are getting older and plan to do a lot of traveling and having to parallel the two smaller ones each time we stop is a pain. The added bonuses are the remote start and ability to use propane. Received it today, put in the oil and hooked up the propane and it started immediately. We are now going through the 5 hour break-in and will change the oil over to synthetic then we will be good to go for several more years. You cannot beat their quality and dependability and why we chose to stick with Westinghouse.

It can be stressful trying to be sure you buy the right generator. I watched a lot of videos and looked t a lot of generators/reviews. I decided to go with the iGen4500 and am extremely satisfied. This is a solid generator, had easy setup and is quiet, which is what I am looking for while camping with a 35' camper. The remote start and duel fuel are a great plus. Great generator for the money.

Just got this generator & still breaking it in. like how quiet it is, the large fuel tank & how powerful it seems to be. just putting light lads on it yet when breaking in, but it takes quite a bit to get it up to 1/4 load. Should work well for us as we travel from one dirt track race to the next. Anxious to see how economical it is on fuel. Plan on primarily running it on gas & using the LP as a backup source.

I bought this online about a month ago. It arrived promptly and was well packaged, so there was no damage. It is fully assembled, except for oil and for charging the battery, so it is easy to prepare for first usage. The controls are clearly labelled and the instructions were easily understood. In terms of features, it is well designed, but there are two that I particularly like. This is an inverter generator, so the power output is less variable and safer for appliances/electronics. It also operators on Gas or Propane, which makes it more versatile in a variety of settings.

I am glad I made this purchase it runs good with my toe behind RV and I like the remote start it's a great product and I love it,s made in the United States it will be a good backup for power outage at my home and love all the features that's made in it especially the color very nice product

I personally bought a Igen4500DF for myself that has perfirmed flawlessly, and decided to get a second igen4509DF for my parents. I put oil and gas in the new, pressed the button once and it started right up. Threw on a hair dryer for load and ran it till the gas finished.
