I bought this middle of January for a less noise and more power. Came in and put the oil and gas in according to the quick setup and started right up, no issues. Cannot believe what a difference the sound level is to my older generator. Hopefully I don’t need to use it much but I am prepared.

I got mine from SAMs about a year and a half ago and mine is the 4500DF and I'm really glad I got it. I heard they're hard to start on propane hut mine isn't. Battery was charged and I put the oil in hooked up propane bottle and pushed key fob and it was running so smooth and the quietest generator inverter I've ever listened to. With power as clean as 3% THD the most delicate equipment will thank you for being off grid. Equipment runs better and cooler and last much longer than dirty power from other generators will give you. Now I have an ecoflow as well. Price was almost identical and with both units I'm beyond pleased.

Did my first oil change at 3 hrs and again at 8 hrs. I was shocked at how much metal was in the first oil change. There were large shavings, and a ton of glitter. Still glitter in the second. I will change it again at 15hrs. Manual does not clearly state break-in time, but says change oil after first 25hrs and do not exceed 50% load during break-in. Also the batteries for the remote came dead and the regulator came with rusted screws and corroded aluminum. After replacing the batteries in the remote, its a great feature to have. I have not put any gasoline in mine yet and plan on using propane exclusively. I live at 4000ft and use this at altitudes slightly higher. A high altitude carb kit is required for altitudes above 5000ft (its just a jet kit). Not sure if this applies to propane operation.

I just purchased the unit and filled out the warranty registration, and you're asking for a review already? Okay, packaging is super, easy enough to unpack. The instruction manual is excellent, well written, and informative. The gen started up and runs great on gas and propane. I plugged a circular saw into it and ran the saw a couple of seconds. Now that's all the more I tried it for now. I'll change my rating if it fails when I actually use the dam thing.

The remote control is so awesome I don't have to go outside if it's cold or raining super quiet but it doesn't seem to have the same power as my louder exactly the same powered different manufacturer model but the features this has out Waze its faults

We lost power after a storm for 4 days. I decided to purchase a generator that will help keep our refrigerator, freezer and other essentials running I case am extended power outage would occur again. The iGen4500DF met exactly I was looking for and has the portability and power o use for a variety of needs.

Bought this for our camping trip, was amazed at how quiet it was we could literally stand around it and not have to raise our voices, putting it behind the camper we couldn't even hear it. I only got to run it off of gasoline so far but it seems very fuel efficient and I love the remote start!

This is a great generator, even if Westinghouse likes to call it "inverter' in its good included manual. All other previous comments I agree with, So 4 Stars why ? Well here is the INFO needed. The 30 amp output is NOT A 3 PRONG TWIST LOCK, as nearly all 'generators' come with, but is a TT 30r outlet, 30 amp travel trailer. Yeah it's in the manual. However all past generators, for me, have had a 3 prong twist lock (L5 30p) outlet. SO you need and adaptor TT 30r to L5 30p twist lock. Now all your cords will plug right in for power. This is also really meant to be set out all alone with a long card. As I have yet to figure how to add a tail pipe to the exhaust system from my motorhome's extended bumper mounting. It is nearly 200 pounds lighter then the 5000watt Onan it replaces. : ) And may I ask Who the Heel has the employee try to hide the Serial number to where you need lay down or have helper tip the thing near on end ? But yes I certainly recommend this Inverter : )

I purchased this generator to power my RV with a 15000 BTU AC. It powers the AC, lights and even the microwave with capacity to spare. Very quiet and the quality is top notch. Remote start is great and the run time is very good (who wants to refill the tank at 5AM!). Highly recommended.

Had this generator for about 25 days. Been on one camping trip. Had an issue when it arrived with minor cosmetic damage due to shipping. Had to manually adjust the choke because it was sputtering on initial start up and run. Had a little problem with being able to read the oil level due to the oil cap being a yellow color and oil being new and clean. But one the initial issues were addressed it ran great and powered my camper off grid for three days on one tank of gas and a half a propane tank.
