Just bought it and set up was easy - add oil, attach quick-connect battery cables, attach propane tank, and voila. Runs much quieter and weights 50% less than the Champion non-inverter I had before. I really like the telescoping handle too. I've only tested propane so far. But electric and remote start worked first try. My only caution is I didn't see in manual what the oil capacity is. It's a bit less than the quart they provide, and it's not easy to see when the chamber is full. It would be nice if they noted the actual oil capacity of the engine so you can pre-measure and avoid over-filling.

My Brother has this same generator. He told me about it. It works great. I can run everything in my trailer with this generator and it doesn't really put too much of a load on it. A/C, Microwave, water pump and all the lights on no problem with this generator. And all this at 9,000 feet in Utah.

Got this model because of favorable reviews. Easy set up and started right up with propane. Do not plan to use gasoline. Very quiet running; could speak normally without raising our voices. So far no complaints but have yet to give it a thorough run. I'm sure it will power everything I need for emergency backup, and since it's an inverter, won't harm my sensitive electronics. I had an electrician install an interlock in my electric panel so I can run anything I want within the wattage limit.

Bought this to run on propane so I can quit fighting with modern gasoline that is stored for long periods of time which causes carburetor troubles. It fired right up and runs well off of the included propane regulator. This will make a nice addition to our camp trailer.

Great generator! Easily runs everything in travel trailer including, 13,500 btu a/c, fridge , lights, and a microwave (for a couple of minutes,and at only 75 % output when all going at same time) I am about to buy a second to run at least the kitchen in house for power outage situations

We purchased this for a portable generator for camping in our RV and for use at home. for this size the weight at just over 100lb is manageable. the extendable pull handle make maneuvering very easy. The remote start, along with the wattage supplied will be very useful and do well for us.

I selected this generator because I live in an urban area and noise inconvenience to my neighbors was a big concern. The reason for requiring a generator was back up to the power grid going down, so it had to provide enough power to run a fridge/freezer x2, and other small items such as TV, or Internet which can be turn on and off as required. The generator also had to be something a senior citizen could move on their own. Noise - the noise level is quiet enough that it could run overnight without disturbing us or neighbors. During the day if nearby to the generator the noise isn't loud enough to be a problem. I measured 62db when about 25ft away, and audibly it wasn't louder closer too. To my ears it wouldn't be a problem running it for long periods of time. In the short time we have had the generator it has run everything we hoped it would. It wasn't purchased to run the whole house but for the needs we wanted it for it performs well. If down the line we decide more power is needed we will buy another one to run in parallel. That was a feature we noted before buying and room for expansion is a worthwhile feature. Weight - The attached handle and wheels make it fairly easy to move. It is kept in the garage and can be wheeled out with a little effort. Where we place it to run it is gravel and moving over the gravel requires more effort but it is not a struggle to do so. Took some time researching what to buy before we decided on the iGen4500DF, and are very happy with our choice. We went duel fuel to avoid the hassle of storing gas and it deteriorating.

I just went through the easy to follow setup guide. All features work as advertised! The generator is quiet, starts right up with both gas and LPG options. The remote start is a great added bonus! Will not have to go out in the heat or the cold to get things running for my needs.

I bought the generator in July to prepare for an outage. Lost electricity in August so had to put to use. It is a great product! Directions straight forward. I am outside hearing my neighors gens, but this one is easy to start and for a generator, pretty quiet. Love the remote start!

Was scared at first. Box was delivered pretty beat up but product was not damaged at all. After filling the oil and checking the battery, unit started up with no problems. Using propane as my fuel source it was very smooth running and the noise level was less than I expected. Will update after my first real usage.
