I follwed all instructions. It fired up quickly. It runs smoothly and quietly. I shut it off and put it in my garage. Came back later and there was gasoline on the floor. The whole garage now smells like gasoline. I took it back out side and cranked it up and let it run for 25 minutes. I shut it off. Then came back 20 minutes later. Tbere was a small pool of gasoline under it. Don’t ask me if I overfilled the tank. I did not. Now I don’t know what to do.

Wow! Bought this 3 weeks ago but just today had a chance to fire it up. Followed the quick start directions, filling the engine with oil and connecting the battery and propane. Pushed the start button and “Voila”, it started within a few seconds. I bought it for this reason as my shoulders aren’t what they used to be. The second reason I bought it was because it is advertised as being very quiet. I’m please to say that it is much quieter than I thought it would be. Extremely happy with the purchase for these reasons. I have another generator but it is so loud, I was reluctant to use it with my neighbors only a short distance away. Problem is solved with the new purchase.

I bought this generator about a month ago. I just started the break-in process. Everything works as it should and I love the remote control option! The only reason I did not give this machine a five star is because the little plastic hooks that are supposed to keep the rubber band connected & the battery in place, broke off so the rubber band does not hold it down. This causes the battery to bounce around when moving. Otherwise, it’s light, portable & dual fuel is an added plus.

This is an upgrade from the Westinghouse EEN 4500 dual fuel which I use on my recreational vehicle for on-demand power while living off grid full-time. I prefer generators that run off of liquid propane for a variable of reasons but ideally because it’s a cleaner burn and less service hour intervals And still yields the power I need without petrol. This generator has ran full-time in the Arizona summer months, running my air conditioner and has for the most part held up pretty well to the outside dust storms, monsoon, rains, and blowing desert dust. My one constructive criticism would be to make Better access panels to the oil, change area and battery compartment because due to weather elements as well as normal wear and tear their pull down latches eventually fail, and I’ve lost both covers.

Just opened her up and she was packaged well. The spec sheet on this girl said 100 Lbs., at I believe it. I was hoping that with the pull out handle that I could pull it up the steps, nope, had to put her on a hand truck and get the ol' lady to help lift a little with each step. Although, I imagine a young buck could pull it up the stairs without to much trouble. So far so good, I like it.

I only opened it up and its good so far. very quiet. Purchased this to replace the Onan Cummins 4500 that went bad. I know this is the same generator rebranded with WestingHouse but the great reviews are what sold me. I believe the inverter went bad on my Onan and hoping i don't have the same problem. I did purchase the 3 year warranty.

Just purchased the Igen4500DF dual fuel with remote start. Very easy to set up out of the box. 2 recommendations. 1) use entire bottle of oil provided. They don't say in the instructions but its exactly the amount to fill the crankcase. 2) The battery may need overnight charging for the remote and push button start to work. Use trickle charge plug provided. The instructions don't give you that tip either. Otherwise, the unit pull started right up and is very quiet. Exactly what I need for my trailer camper.

We are now "hurricane ready" and so glad to have our new Westinghouse generator. I used it already to get familiar and understand how it works. It starts so easy and runs very quietly. We had an old generator which was unbearably loud...so glad this is not. Westinghouse has always been a reliable brand.

Have about 75 hours on mine so far, and it is running great. I've run on both propane and gasoline, and gen starts and runs easily on both. Really happy with noise levels, power output, runtime, weight, and features (remote start, battery start). Maintenance pretty easy too, especially after doing it a few times. Go ahead and compare to other models, and you'll see that this one stacks up really well in terms of features and price.
