The boxes came well labeled and identiable. My only gripe is pieces were spread between all boxes and not by steps. You will need to open every box when you get started. I was missing one bag of screws but just bought a replacement at the hardware store. Overall, I am happy with the product. I highly suggest having multiple drills with the proper sized bits to speed up the construction. Two men can easily do this in a weekend. It was fun and fulfilling to build.

I searched and searched for a swingset that would suite the needs of my 5 year and almost 1 year old. I thought the set up of this was perfect with the 2 club houses and the 2 separate play areas underneath. Although the actual design is nice the wood is sooooooo thin and already splitting after 6 weeks of being up! It’s very expensive for the actual materials used. I am HIGHLY disappointed and if there was a way to return it I would in a heartbeat! Don’t be fooled by how nice it looks online. It’s cheaply made and backyard discovery should be ashamed they are selling such low grade material for the price they are. We did not have any issues with delivery and we hired someone to put it together (1 person about 16-20 hours).

It took a pro 3 days to set up. Only 1 missing piece that was reported so have a few extra to replace if needed. Some pilot holes are missing so need to spend more time drilling to prevent wood cracking. REALLY need to stain either before or after the set is build to last longer. The decks are huge. I'm 4/9 and 130 lbs. and I could stand in the smaller deck. For stain, get water resistance with a slight touch of cedar wood color and it is perfect.

When I received this set, the first thing my contractor said was the wood was terrible quality, breaks easily, and he would have to reinforce it. He had several broken boards and was concerned with my children falling through (ages 8, 6, 2, weight 55 lbs, 45 lbs, 30 lbs) so he bought extra lumber to put underneath. When two kids were swinging the entire swing set portion rocked and would come off the ground. Attached is our play set just a few weeks after purchase, it was completely destroyed by a quick storm. The stakes were completely insufficient. My boys loved this set and were terribly disappointed when this happened.

Delivered on time and placed under shelter. Installation prompt by three very professional young men and built very quickly. Unfortunately we had to call them back within 30 minutes as one little door fell off when opened by a two year old child. Very quick return and we were told this is a fault with this playset, screws too short. Unfortunately other door fell off next day. Had to call in handyman too get longer screw and instal door again. This cost me money. Took away some of the pleasure my kids are having with this swing set. It is very good value for money. Anne

The boards are made of the cheapest cedar I’ve ever seen. We just had our first wind storm since we put this together, and the screws aren’t holding. The boards are about as good as fiberboard. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to get one made with 2x’s and real/sturdy wood.

I purchased from Sam's club and Backyard Discovery is who we had the most problem from first off I purchase insulation that I never received and never got refunded my $1,000 had to put it up myself 2 months after ordering it is finally put up and it is the biggest piece of junk I've ever seen the worst thing I've ever bought in my life it is very cheap very poorly made bad quality wood for the already bended and molded. Swings are junk slide is not sturdy. I am very unsatisfied. And fearful of my 4 year old safety on this product. Dont waste your time with this one. If Backyard Discovery makes anything better I would like to know about it. Otherwise I dont see how this company hasn't been sued. I have 4 children and dont see how this set could have even met any safety requirements. I purchased a similar swingset over 10 years ago at grandparents house and it's still as sturdy as the day I bought it. And the boards haven't broken or cracked . I give this one maybe 6 months before I have completely tear it down due to being a safely hazard in my yard. That's how cheap this thing is made . And as far as install . Backyard Discovery wouldn't even come build it they came took our book and never returned. And said they would call to book appt. To install in a about 2 weeks. Still never returned had to order another book just to be able to build myself . It was and still is a disaster. After all that time of trying to have something nice for my children that I put out $3000 dollars for and you finally get it put together and the kids are excited and I'm just disgusted that I bought such Garbage. I see all these good reviews and read them all before buying but unless these people have never seen good quality swingset or they dont k ot any better. Trust me you dont want to buy this one.

I bought this item approximately 1.5 months ago for my son’s birthday. Still unfinished. I paid $900 for the “professional” installation since I read horror stories on self building with missing parts and pieces not fitting correctly. The company that was supposed to build it for me for $900 which was already paid, decided not to call me. Delivery of the playset was faster than expected which was a plus and I had the boxes sitting in my driveway. I called the installation company and asked when they would have an installation date ready for me, since the item was delivered already. They said they would call me back tomorrow. I wanted 2 days and never received a call back. I call them back and they said again they would call me tomorrow. Again another 2 days pass and never heard from them. I call them again. They said they haven’t found anyone who can install it yet?? I asked if they were the installation company and apparently they are a third party who outsources their jobs to a local company to shave money off the top. They kept not calling me back, this occurred for 2 weeks straight with my boxes just sitting in the driveway the entire time. I call them again and they said “we’ve escalated your situation and we’ll give you a call back either today or tomorrow.” Guess what? No call back. I call again and hear someone whispering in the back “say we’ll call you back.” I call SamsClub customer services to complain about this lack of professionalism, and SamsClub had the “installation” company’s back and said “it can take up to 2 weeks for them to give you a date.” The representative said this very rudely like I was the one at fault. Also, this was a blatant lie. An absolute lie from SamsClub because after about a month of back and forth, I call SamsClub customer service again and get it “escalated.” The manager at SamsClub said this was not supposed to happen and whoever I spoke to at SamsClub customer services prior to that was misinformed. Out of desperation for my son’s upcoming birthday, I ended up calling a local guy to build it, and pay him $500 for installation. As the guy was building it, halfway through his build, he comes to me and says many parts are missing, the app to build the playset was malfunctioning and that we need atleast 40 more screws to finish the build. He had to sand down some pieces that were too long to fit properly. I called SamsClub again, they said they would send the missing parts. As he drilled, not hard drilling, the wood splintered and cracked in multiple pieces. I’m over this playset and the lies I’ve been told. I’m so unhappy and my son’s birthday has passed with a half built, broken and splintered cheap playset. I am embarrassed because I had family come over with their children for his birthday and they questioned this unfinished playset. I am returning it all, you guys win. I’m out an extra amount of money due to paying the local man for half the build. I’ve never had such a bad and poor experience that left me this frustrated and embarrassed. I will be returning this item. I appreciate SamsClub for accepting the return.

We bought this for my sons 2nd birthday. We absolutely love it ! We actually made both bottoms into a sand box, and my son plays on this for hours!
