I buy these crab cakes every couple of months or so. They are normally quite tasty. However, this evening, they had a very distinct sugary flavor. There is no sugar listed on the ingredients, and we had to abandon the crabcake portion of our dinner, which left us with only brocolli. We are a bit bewildered... I will wait awhile and purchase at another store.

With so many good reviews I was so excited to try these. Popped them in the oven at 400 and took them out. I was serving them along side short ribs with mashed potatoes. I took one bite and couldn’t even swallow it, the taste was awful. My guests agreed. The taste lingered even after a gulp of wine. Maybe I got a bad batch or something but I will definitely not be recommending these.

Living in coastal SC, you'd think it's easy to find fresh crab meat, but that's not the case. I love making my own crab cakes from scratch. Member's Mark crab cakes are the next best thing. The flavor is good. They're not filled with excess breading and the price is reasonable.

I don’t understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Maybe I should have tried baking them. I tried cooking them in a pan with oil and they fell apart as soon as they started getting warm. So I thought they would do better deep fried. All they did was absorb a ton of oil first, then started coming apart. I had baked some fish so ended using some of it as a topping over the fish. Not a very good flavor either. Way too expensive for such poor quality.

Decided to try these for 4th of July. Just my wife and I so didn't need much. I found instructions on using an air fryer but after the allotted time the internal temperature wasn't hot enough. Ended up pan frying them until the temp was close to 165 degrees. Bottoms were crisp, insides moist and tender and were delicious!!! Will buy again but next time will thaw first. So I would recommend these!

I’ve been debating trying these for awhile. I decided today was the day. I used olive oil spray and baked them for 25 mins. I was disappointed with the lack of crab. The flavor was okay considering they’re 90% stuffing mix. I would recommend not purchasing them unless you love stuffing and want to pay $15 for six.

These are pretty good but they need a little seasoning and I really struggled to get them cooked properly. Tried pan, oven and air fryer and all 3 ways had issues with the inside being undone and would end up splitting them open to finish. I'd like a better seafood ratio for the price and how few their are in a box. You're mostly paging for bread crumbs and bell peppers.

We have purchased this item many times and have always been extremely satisfied with the product. Purchased for our Christmas dinner. The crab cakes were dry & not much flavor. We were very disappointed and we do not plan to purchase this item again.

I wish they would bring back the Phillips crab cakes. So disappointing that they switched to these. These taste like spicy breadcrumbs, not crab. Just like their other club brand products. Guess I’ll be getting the good ones at the other wholesale club!

I had 2 this evening. Excellent!! No shells and real crab meat! Would absolutely buy them again. Hard to believe that some reviews I read said they encountered lots of shells and no crabmeat. Maybe the person who made the ones I had was a better crab picker!
