Bought this on our last trip to the store. Cooked up one last night and the flavor was alright for a frozen crab cake. Unfortunately, the crab cake was littered with shell pieces. For something priced so high for what little you get these should be flawless. Picking out gritty shell bits after every bite was not fun. Taking it back today for a refund and never buying again.

Tried a Pack of them after eating 3 crab cakes, Yes they are hand made, too much filler for me, Not one bit of lump crabmeat in these Blue crabs (they claim they are) But for 14.88 when Crabs real ones cost $70 a dozen in the DC area. Guess will have to settle. Phillips are $4 More per box.

I purchased these about a month ago; defrosted them first before baking them in a toaster oven; turned out to perfection with a nicely browned crusting on the outside with a deliciously moist and soft inside. I would recommend this product; I ate only 1 per person so I was able to get 6 individual servings; most people would probably eat 2 each but they are still a generous portion as a single serving.

We keep these awesome crab cakes in the house at all times and strongly recommend them. Out of the oven or sautéed they are delicious. I like topping a grilled beef filet with one of these cakes and some creole hollandaise when hosting and my guests think I am a gourmet chef. Or for a quick lunch put a cake in between to slices with lettuce and tomato and you'll have one heck of a crab cake sandwich. Love this item.

When I saw a new different crab cake box I thought "oh no, I loved the crab cakes they had!' but I bought a box anyway. I let them thaw, then sautéed the crab cakes in my frying pan and they were fantastic! We put a little romaulade sauce on top and they were better than we have had in many restaurants.

We bought these to try cause we like making crab cake with fresh crab meat. We first prepared these by frying. My wife and I hated them, even with an assortment of garnishes. The next week we try baking them. Same awful taste. Wouldn't waste my money on these again.

I'm particular when it comes to crab cakes. Either they're nothing but All breading with very little crabmeat or they're imitation crab meat with little breading and no seasonings. These crab cakes are the bomb! They taste homemade with just the right amount of breading and seasonings. I can't get enough of these cause they're so delicious!

I don’t understand the bad reviews unless they just got a bad batch.. because the moment I tasted these crab cakes I was in Love, Good size great flavor, obvious real crab meat.. I put them in an Air fryer for 12 minutes and then finished with Lemon juice and my favorite hot sauce for seafood.. and they were restaurant quality... Will definitely buy again

These are great store bought crab cakes. I checked the label and the 1st ingredient is crab meat. Upon opening the package I was delighted at all the lump crab meat! I pan seared from frozen and from thawed and yummy in a cast iron skillet. Definitely recommend!

Nothing special to write home about, but after finding two pieces of plastic wrapping embedded in two different crab cakes, I wonder how much quality control goes into to processing. One 4? multicolored shred looked like it came from another package and the second piece was clear and looked like it came from a plastic bag. Otherwise crab cake was fine. But will not buy them again.
