But turns out it actually is better than normal Gillette or discount brand shaving gel. The Aloe has a very nice cooling effect. Quite strong (unexpectedly) actually. It does foam quite a bit more than the product we have so it is quite effective and definitely is sensitive shaving gel as it states

I tend to break out easily while shaving due to irritation, so anything that I can do to add more add more slip to my shaving is important to me. I have also had a few more products that have aloe and I appreciate them because of the soothing tendency. This shave gel lathered well and has a nice mild scent. I also liked the three pack packaging because overall it is a better value for the money. I also like that they didn’t include a lid to the packaging as I just toss it and it’s a waste. Overall, I am pleased with this shave gel and will continue to use it regularly.

I love how it’s a 3 pack. The scent is excellent. My wife loves how it smell. It’s a great value for the money. It’s also very effective in allowing me to properly shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It lathers pretty well. If we compare the amount of gel used to the rich lathering, it punches above its weight. The properties of aloe and shea butter Make for a good moisturizer for the skin while shaving. When it comes to shaving, my skin tends to breakout often. So I avoid shaving often, but with this shaving gel, I am starting to shave more frequent as it feels more protective for my skin while shaving. The irritation has been reduced greatly while using this product. I haven’t tried using another gel since getting this one because I don’t want my skin irritated again. I will be sticking to this one since the razor glides through and I don’t need a lot of passovers which also in turn helps reduce the irritation. Everyone’s skin is different, so give this a try at least, even if you don’t have sensitive skin. The packing is pretty tame and in line with something you would market for sensitive skin. It gives a very mellow like feel. The scent isn’t over bearing and is rather mellow.

Often when I shave I will get mild to moderate skin irritation. I do believe this product helped keep it down a bit, but not completely. It will help keep your skin smoothe and less irritated after a shave. Gillette is a trusted and good brand that I am happy to continue to use.
