We bought these to use for our Easter lunch. We looked at the carrots before roasting them on Easter, they turned black and went soft in the bag.  They were bought shortly before Easter.  We'll think twice before purchasing these again.

Check before using

These are my favorite. I have a vegetarian child so I used these to make veggie tacos. I have to think outside the box in my house, I have really like the flavor of these carrots as they offer such a different taste and variety. For my specific dish I cleaned and prepared them, then I blanched them and finished them off by sauteeing them at a high enough temp to consider them fire roasted. I’m it can be seasoned however you like. I then put them inside my tacos with other veggies I did the same with. It came out excellent. They were the star of the show. Highly recommend. They are also very good roasted and steamed.
