I haven't had this product in about 6 months or so and have always loved it. I also liked the pre cooked crumbled sausage. But I have a hard time finding the product sometimes. Also this last purchase of patties the quantity of the item has been cut in half or so it seems. I like to make a sandwich out this and usually use 2-3 pieces but today I had to use 4 patties. There's less meat and the price has gone up a little. Not the best way to keep a customer coming back. I used to buy 4-5 packages at a time but I can't afford it now.

I used to use 3-4patties almost every day. I did have a very hard time locating this product. The last batch seemed to have been created with a new recipe. They were flat with much less flavor in each pattie. The last time I tried to buy only thing available at any grocery was the even worse turkey version. Next I attempted to use the bag of links sold in a few grocery stoeres. Those were no bettet. I am now looking for a new brand.

I tend to like a little spice in my breakfast sausage that I cut with sweetness from maple syrup. These sausuge patties are not spicey. They are very delicious and cook up on the stovetop from frozen state in 8 min. I also like that they are vacuum sealed in 4 packs.

We have been buying the JD Fully Cooked Original for years, it has changed & not for the good. I've been trying to get use to it but I'm not buying them any more. We loved the hot sausage then we could not find it anywhere & had to start buying the original and got use to it & enjoyed it. Then you changed to the new recipe & now the texture & taste are awful. This morning I ate two patties that tasted totally different from each other and both were bad, which prompted me to do the search on why JD changed this product & now I see many other consumers are just as miffed. Too bad I still have 3 boxes in my freezer that will be disposed of.

I notice all the 5 star reviews are several years old. The newer ones are 1 or 2 stars. Product changed for the worse. I used to buy these for my 94 year old mother so she could make them easily. She told me not to buy her any more. Used to taste like sausage and were consistent in quality,m no more. Rubbery and tasteless. Movin' on!

We have bought this sausage for years now.....have noticed many changes as of late. Smaller thinner sausage and so salty that this was the only thing you could taste. We will definitely be looking for a new brand. The price and quality are a big deal. I'm not will to pay for something that doesn't even weigh as much as the box it's in. The box probably tastes better too! Jimmy Dean you disappoint!

As with many, fan of this product for a couple years. Love the convenience, it's been a staple item in our home to start with a quick high-protein breakfast to get the day started. Noticing over past 6 months quality of the product has diminished significantly. Opened a box this morning, couple patties were beyond anything that would be expected with precooked sausage. Trying to be respectful here but c'mon Jimmy Dean/Tyson, you can do better...

This is a great disappointment for me. Jimmy Dean sausage was always my favorite and was always consistent in size, texture and taste. Now the sausage patties have changed in the last 6 months for the worse. I'm speaking about the patties that have the wire marks on them where previously they did not. Now the patties are inconsistent in thickness and when cooked are rubbery where previously they were tender and juicy. I regret to advise that we have bought our last box of these patties. For decades I have enjoyed JD's pork sausage patties. Then something changed. From the original box we now have a bag of patties apparently just dumped in. But the worst change is they don't taste or chew the same as the real originals. They are rubbery in texture and in the chewing. To me, they are not the patties I've loved. No more for me, thank you. It's back to bacon.

I have noticed a recent change in the quality of this product. Formerly this product was far superior to your competitors for which I was happy to pay a premium. Quite frankly, your quality is no greater than your competitors and I no see no reason to pay your higher price. Please return to your former recipe.
