This sausage is very tasty. We prefer it to the roll of Jimmy Dean Sausage. I like that it comes four patties to a sleeve in the package, and I can easily separate the patties and cook only what we need.

These Pattie's are quick and easy, but you will pay the price for that. They cost more than the roll of sausage you have to make your own patty. Thry both taste good but I personally like the roll better.

The current version of the patties are rubbery where previously they were tender and juicy and really don't have much taste. It's almost like the spices are missing. I think I've purchased my last box. Dang I miss the real ones!

Have kept the patties on hand and enjoyed them for years. Have purchase 3 packages of the new style patty. Will not buy again. No idea what you were thinking or what this feedback from customers you cited for the change was. Shame...was a great product. Terrible now. And get this, last package had three patties instead of four!

As with the other reviewers we are not happy with Jimmy Deans. We have been eating JD Patties for many years but will be changing bands the when we use the last ones from this purchase. The sad point is we will never know if JD's change back to the old style.

I was shocked when I opened my new box of sausage. It looked totally different, I thought I had made a mistake and bought turkey sausage, which I don't like. But the box said original pork sausage. Cooked it and not one person liked it including me. We all loved the old recipe. Will find a new Brand to buy. To bad.

As others have stated, we have been enjoying this product for years and have recommended it to many. Why did you change it? It wasn't broke, it didn't need to be fixed. I first noticed the change in shape and taste, but the packaging was the same. Now you have even changed the packaging. Very foolish! The wider box, with a window, only makes your product appear smaller. You should have put the money that was spent for that decision into the product, keeping the patties the same size and taste. They look like the picture, I'll give you that, but no one expected the taste and crispiness when fried to be gone. Please bring the old patties back!

You should listen to your customers. The change is not an improvement and you will only lose customers. The patties are now too thin so not juicy. When they dome in the middle simply press down on the patty. You don't have to change the patty for the few that can't figure that out. Change them back or we are finished as a consumer of your sausages. They are terrible!

Bought since Sam's discontinued the other precooked sausage patties a while back. I figured Jimmy Deans should be good, between being a name brand and more expensive. I was wrong. The patties when cooked as instructed are tough/rubbery. Won't be buying again.
