This playset turned out great! The instructions are easy to follow, it took about 26 hours to put together with just my husband and I. The tube slide was the hardest step of the build. Our boys love the playset!

This is rock solid sturdy playset that will last forever! It's nice quality and my kids love it! But if building yourself, be ready for about 18 hour assembly….

I'm fairly handy...I mainly look things up online and if it looks straight forward I can do them (remove/install garbage disposals, toilets, etc.) I read reviews on the install of this and didn't think I could do it, but didn't want to pay $1600 for install, so I tried. I'm glad I did it. The hardest part was unpacking the boxes because there's so much bending over and reading the pieces. Putting it together is easy tbh, don't let these reviews scare you. I did the whole thing myself, even the tube slide. Surprisingly, the tube slide was one of the more easy parts. Just follow the directions on the BILT app and it's a piece of cake. I would say it took me roughly 20 hours or so all in. You will absolutely need an impact drill!!!! I would highly recommend this playground as it seems very high quality so far.

This is a great playset. Our 3 year old loves it. Assembly: Took me and a friend (who has experience in construction) 2 full days. We started by laying out the first box on the driveway, then figured it would be best to just dig what we need from the boxes for each step. That took a while, we so we ask my wife and older kids to help separate all the boards and put post it notes on them. This was a huge help. Be ready for the tube slide assembly to be a kicker. Took us about 2 hours by itself. Overall, I think this is a good product and I am glad I decided to assemble myself (and not pay $1,000 for that service). However, I may be thinking otherwise if I had been doing it myself.

We absolutely love our SkyFort III. It is much bigger in my opinion than what it appears in the photos. The finished product is so rewarding to watch my son enjoy it so much. He is constantly saying daddy let’s slide. My kiddo is 3 years old and this works great for him. I have personally been down the straight slide, in the crows nest, up the ladder and on the swings. I weigh about a-buck-80 and I’m definitely stressing the wood so I’d say this will get us by until about 10 or so. If you are reading this and are interested in time to assemble it calls for I believe 23hrs with 2 people. I can tell you it will take every bit of that. I had 4 people one 7-hour day and my self another 5 hours the following day to finish. The tube slide is definitely a 3-4 hour task alone. One thing that’s a little frustrating is that it comes with a big box of bolts but they are poorly packaged. For instance the rock wall took like 72 screws of a certain size yet there where 500 for example and you just set them to the side until a future step in the build. If I were buying this for my kids outside of the holiday season and didn’t have to have it assembled by a certain date I would gladly pay the 700 bucks to have it assembled. If you are a single dad without a lot time or extra hands hire a contractor. If you plan to build yourself I definitely would recommend assembling the crows nest on the ground prior to placing it into position. My neighbor purchased the same thing and actually assembled much faster and one of the things he did after watching me struggle was assembled the crows nest on the ground. Another tip is to find the Phillips head tool that comes with the set as it prevents you from over tightening the deck screws which I did.

Ok, so I thoroughly read the reviews and was plenty prepared to work on it for a while. Yes the wood splits terribly, yes it takes FOREVER!!! So I got it on Saturday afternoon, worked on it until dark, then from 10am Sunday til dark, Monday from 8am until 4pm, then 7pm until dark, Wednesday from 5pm until dark and the only thing left is to finish anchoring it to the ground. Some parts did not line up right so there were gaps. The directions were fairly simple to follow except when telling you to "note hole locations" then never specified which way those holes were supposed to face, so there were a couple boards we had to turn around. Some of the holes didn't line up so we ended up drilling our own holes. We used wood filler to fill the splits in the wood for now but I'm going to just have to replace it eventually. Its wise to lay everything out because some of the numbers on the wood are impossible to read. Tried to upload photos, but that function seems to be broken right now

First and foremost beware when it says 25+ hours to put together they are not lying. Download their BILT app and USE it. It's much better than the instructions. Do yourself a favor and separate/ organize all the wood and hardware before you start. It's worth the 30 minutes it will take you. Only reason it's not 5 stars is several holes didn't line up right and needed to be redrilled. A right angle attachment for your drill (which is not mentioned in supplies) will make your life much easier. And several cuts of wood were not labeled/splintered and had to be sanded or glued. It's not overly difficult to assemble just time consuming. Overall it's a very nice unit for the price and seems built to last for years.

Believe what you read in the reviews about the amount of time it takes to assemble. If I had to do it again I would get a bunch of zip lock bags. Go through each step and lay out the pieces of lumber and the hardware. Then when you start assembling you are not trying to figure it out. Overall I am very pleased with the product and the grandkids are loving it.

Very sturdy, clear instructions, kids love it, and looks beautiful. The directions stated it would take 23 hrs for two people to put it together - I did it by myself and it took me 30 hrs. Though it would’ve been much easier with a second person ;) just a note - don’t tighten the bolts too tight or it will start to splinter.

Lovely. So much fun and beautifully thought out. The app makes it very easy to follow the assembly directions. Give yourself about 40 hours of assembly time and at least 2 strong adults to lead the adventure. Our boys love it and it looks amazing :)
