We bought this set around late November of last year. The assembly was challenging but expected after reading other reviews. The disappointment we have run into is just how unstable this set feels. Most pieces have been thinned to the extreme and a lot of the larger support pieces are already heavily split. We have a two year old. Just swinging her in the middle slot is enough to see the main structure starting to torque. I’ve had to tell the neighbors 8 year old to come down from it after the structure was visibly moving while they were shifting around in the second story. This set simply needs either more, better placed, or stronger supports to stiffen the structure. We have already double checked all of the fasteners and bolts and screws to ensure everything was properly tightened and assembled. It’s unfortunate because the kiddo really does love the set. It is just nerve wracking every time she wants to play in it and her little 20 something pounds is enough to cause some shifts.

Way too hard to put together, there should of been an option for delivery and assembly.

VERY TIME CONSUMING you will spend ATLEAST 2 days trying to build this thing. It took us 5 people to build

lots of parts but with the directions this thing went together almost flawless very happy with the product so far

Missing parts, very hard to put it all the parts together, if you don’t have any knowledge about carpentry don’t buy it. My children’s enjoy that.

This is a great swing set! My husband and our family helped put this together ourselves. It was not easy at all but definitely worth it! Take a few days to organize your things before getting started. You won’t regret it.

Kids absolutely love it. When putting together, I would reccomend separating all the wood like they say but I would seperate each steps hardware in a plastic cup. We spent a lot of time going through to find each part needed. Second day I went through every step on the bilt app and separated each batch of hardware and it was a lot easier that way.

Got this for our daughter’s second birthday and she loves it so much. It did take a few hours every night for my husband and I to put up. Note that the boxes are not in order of what you need, one project could be in 4 separate boxes. However, the hard work paid off and she plays on it for hours! The tube slide is her favorite!!

I searched for over a year for the perfect backyard playground and I’m happy I chose this one I’m a mother with terrible anxiety and absolutely hate the park but I have kids that love being outside so a great compromise was a playground and this was absolutely the right choice

The Grandkids love it! When our daughter and her family moved we offered to replace their existing playset that had rotting wood. After investigating our options we settled on Backyard Discovery as we were impressed with their quality products. We love seeing the grandkids delight when they play on it.
