Samsung model 50" TU7000 2020 at 14 months of age, one half of the screen went black. Turns out the display lights have to be changed. Cost was high, not worth the repair.

for the price this tv is impossible to beat. i was so happy with my samsung 39" tv i owned for 6 years, i just upgraded to 55". i'm a basic tv user and this delivers+.

the picture is great; however, the remote is a disaster. buttons are too close together and too small. the engineers at samsung can do much better than this.
