Too many issues

i have problems every day with the remote not responding. i always have to go unolug the tv and plug it back in to work. this happens with tv remitted and the cable box remote. also if sometimes it doesnt even recognize the device plugged into the hdmi ports. it is so frustrating. i bought this at christmas, updated the software several times, and still have these issues. i night this samsung because i had such a good experience with my first, but this has been horrible.

Chuck: I am sorry that you are experiencing issues with your TU7000 4K Smart TV. I am glad to hear that you have already updated your software to the latest version. In addition to that, you may want to the self-diagnosis tools built in that can help solve problems with signal, network, picture, or sound. Go to Settings > Support> Device Care > Start Device Care You may also want to clear out your TV's temporary storage space by pressing and holding the Power button for 6 seconds until your TV turns off and back on again. To troubleshoot your HDMI connection, please try the following: 1) Power off all HDMI devices connected to TV 2) Disconnect all HDMI cables from TV 3) Power off and unplug the TV's power cord from the wall outlet 4) Press and hold the TV power button for 30 seconds 5) Reconnect HDMI cables back to HDMI ports on TV 6) Re-plug the TV's power cord back into the wall outlet and check the TV. This product has great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has an awesome picture it is also very easy to navigate. Streaming is so easy and it loads very fast . The TV connects to other devices with ease. It's menu is not complicated and very simple to understand . It also holds and downloads many apps . I absolutely love it . I have no suggestions to make it better . I like the TV so much that I purchased a Samsung galaxy A42 phone and a galaxy watch to stay in the Samsung brand because of being so impressed with the TV. I would and do recommend this product to friends .

Smart right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a nice TV for my sewing studio, and this was not only the right size, but the right price. Right out of the box, it was easy to set up, and to use. My mother is not very technologically savvy, and even she can use it with ease. Great on board apps, lots of free tv, beautiful picture, and great sound. I have always preferred Samsung, and this TV does not disappoint!

Not very happy

when having such high expectations for samsung i am not very happy with my most recent purchase of my 65” samsung smart tv. every time i turn my tv off for a few hours it kicks my internet connection, i attempt to connect it again & it still does not work forcing me to have to reset network settings completely and making me enter in my long password. this doesnt only happen once it happens every day multiple times a day. becomes very frustrating ive tried every troubleshoot step and nothing seems to resolve the issue. :(

A firmware update (ver. 1420.0 released 2/19/21) is available which may help improve your connection. Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Updates usually take a few minutes; please do not turn off the TV until the update is complete. When the update is finished, the TV will restart automatically. You may also want to enable automatic updates for future convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update. Very dark picture

i have had nothing but visios in the house for years. in the living room, where there is a lot of ambient light, the picture has always been somewhat dark. i decided to upgrade from the 55” visio to this 65” samsung. obviously bigger screen but ultimately a much darker experience. it is essentially unwatchable in daylight. im not exaggerating, most of the time we cant even make out what is on the screen unless we close the blinds and draw the curtains. its very annoying. im certain that when we upgrade this to a 75”, it will be a visio. i also bought a samsung soundbar to go with it. this was also problematic. it sould not sync no matter how much we tried to make it work. however, my 8 year old cheap insignia soundbar syncs right up to it. also not a fan of samsung remotes.

I have a few recommendations which may help resolve the issues you are experiencing. First, let's ensure you are running the latest firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Update from here if needed. Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings. For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic. Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings. You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the Brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to: Settings > General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode. Regarding your Soundbar not connecting: Please know that our TVs have a Pass-Through audio feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV, go to Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through. Also, ensure you have chosen the Soundbar as your output source. Go to Settings > Sound > Sound Output. If you have tried this and your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support so that we can provide further troubleshooting. I love my TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my TV all the time and for so many things like gaming, movies, TV streaming, and music. I love the gaming mode, it makes my games so bright and clear that really gives a better gaming experience. My movie nights have been elevated due to this tv and it connects so seamlessly to my Samsung soundbar to create that movie theater experience. The speakers that are built in are also good; they are loud and clear enough to fill my apartment. I use them to listen to music. The only downside is using the ambiance brightness because if you have big windows or a lot of light, the screen can become too dark to see.

Difficult setup-not easy

after a couple days of trying to get past error message, googling, how to fix, etc. finally working. then you have to add apps, login etc. what i do not like at all is the row of apps at the bottom of the screen. you/i can't tell which one i am on and everytime you turn tv on it doesn't go back to what i was watching/app before. then i have to search for hulu all over again. getting use to it now, but not an easy tv for a non-electronics person.

For the price, this product doesn't disappoint

The sales attendant even offered to carry the TV out to my car for me. The TV was easy to mount, allows you to pair with your SmartPhone for easy remote control, and the sound and picture quality in unparalleled. Would definitely refer to a friend.

Good not great

I was pleased with the packaging and size of the TV. I was very excited to know that I could download popular apps I use and was able to plug my Firestick in another room. The only app it doesn't have that I use often is Bravo :(. I am not pleased with the volume function. It changes after I pause, rewind or open different apps. Not sure why that is happening. I also wish the home ticker option was more user friendly. I don't know how to edit what is on the home menu. Also the TV has been known to not play Prime movies or just sporadically exit during play. I LOVE the special access to Samsung TV and have enjoyed several our the free shows. The picture quality is good. Overall the positives outweigh the negatives so I am satisfied but not overly happy with my purchase.

Great price for a great product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tv is wonderful! It has a wide visual display (Ie colour, dynamic range, shadow composition). Loud speakers (I normally don't turn it up past 20 vol so I don't disturb my neighbors), and 4k resolution in a small budget that fits just about anywhere.
