Love it just slow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the clarity of the picture and the options available for the apps. The one thing I do not like so much is how long it takes to transition from screen to screen or to an app. Entirely too long.

Great steal

Even though there's only 2 HDMI ports you can't go wrong. I'll recommend all to pick up this amazing television.

Overall great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No real complaints. Tv has a crisp picture and features are easy to use. Only issue I have is the sound bar disconnects at times and I have to turn it back on. Not sure if it's the TV or sound bar. Overall great product!!!!

Nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the 50 in Samsung TV. We got it for our bedroom and love being able to watch Netflix with just a click of the remote. Great picture. I would like it to be easier to access the sleep timer and I have a problem using just the Samsung remote with the Comcast channels but I hope to get that resolved. Overall, it's a very nice TV at a very nice price! I would recommend it!

Nice but dissappointed

i really want to love my new tv, but i am dissappointed. my tv keeps dropping its internet/wifi connection. i read the forums and searched this problem and it seems that i'm not the only person having this issue. based on other users experience and for mine as well, you have to unplug the tv every time it does that and then it reconnects again. which is a huge inconvenience. i did contact my internet provider and got a faster speed internet. but last night it disconnected from the wifi again. no bad weather or issues on my end. it's the tv. other than that...i do like the tv. it also changes the channels a bit slow, but i can deal with that.

A recent firmware update is available which may help improve your connection. (1420.0 released on 1/5/21) Using your TV's remote, navigate to Settings, and select Support. Select Software Update, and then select Update Now. New updates will be downloaded and installed on your TV. Great tv for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its good for watching movies or live TV and YouTube the picture is very clear and can see all the details and it was very easy-to-use and set up and is not that heavy if you wanted to mound it on the wall or you can use the included tv stands.

Fantastic Clarity!

replaced a 6yr old samsung smart tv with this one. wow! what a difference 6yrs can make. clearest, sharpest picture i have seen. the remote that operates all my devices; sling, sound bar, amazon prime, netflix and my dvd player is amazing! now i can chunk 3 remotes in the drawer and forget about them. keep up the good work samsung!!!!

Samsung 50" TV

Great picture for a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The user interface needs work. It's not anywhere near intuitive at all. I know what the goal is... to keep the picture as you scroll thru the menu but it just doesn't work for me. I'm talking about the home menu. Maybe there's a default setting to go to live tv when turned on. Will need to search for that. The remote needs to be upgraded also. I bought a 14” Samsung about 5-6 years ago and it's basically the same remote. Seems to be quite a lag between pressing the button and the tv reacting. Other than that, I love the TV. Has an awesome picture! Hoping to win the sound bar!

It's a good television.

i am satisfied with the tv. the only thing that bothers me about my purchase is i didn't know anything about samsung tv plus. i think that's the right name. i absolutely hate how it automatically starts playing a random cable channel when the television is turned on and i haven't chosen something yet. i also don't like it turning my playstation on just because i turned the tv on. i want the television and the playstation to be connected but that seems just inconvenient. tv is smart so there's really no need to turn on the playstation unless i'm about to play a game. other than those few nitpicks the tv is great.
