Good for soups. Too tough for fresh eating.

At first I worried if I would be able to use up that much celery. But I needn’t have worried. About half the stalks in the bag were browning and starting to liquify when I opened it today, the sell by date.

Was already starting to rot at the ends 2 days in, before the 'best' date was already unedible even though it was refrigerated the entire time, not sure what is going on but I wouldn't buy them again.

Thought these would be good since they were nice and green but when I went to cut them up I had trouble getting my chef knife through them. Then I tried one and they were very chewy and stringy. You end up with a bunch of celery string in your mouth that you can't chew up. Will try to use them up in cooking though I'm not sure even that will help. I would have given it zero starts but you have to give at least 1 to leave a review.

I've bought this several times and have not been disappointed but maybe a few pieces. For me, even if half the bag was bad, it would still beat getting 3 stalks and cut them myself. This is already done for you, just chop off what is not good and continue on. I think some of the reviewers just got a bad batch, but might be different locations too. Worth it to me!

I Juice celery everyday and go through 3 bags a week. this is the best celery in town. But you do need to check the ends of the celery through the bags to make sure they're fresh. Now they can't seem to keep enough in the stores. seem like they are running out every week!

These are not good for a single person unless you're on some kind of celery cleanse and can burn through this entire bag in a week. Because these are precut stalks they don't last as long as a bunch. Even 'fresh,' you're going to probably cut the tips off both ends. Despite being 'prewashed,' you will have to wash them again. I probably wouldn't buy these at all unless I was prepping the entire bag for use or freeze immediately.

Not a fan of how they print large blue blocks at the top and bottom of the package to strategically block your view of how fresh(or not fresh) the ends of the celery are. The last package I bought had very old looking ends and the celery was rubbery yet almost mushy. And still 10 days left to the best by date! The 1st package I ever bought was good but I'll have to inspect much closer next time. The excessive blue print on the bag doesn't help with that visual inspection.

I have purchased this item on more than one occasion and yes there have been a stalk or two in each delivery that are less than perfect but overall the product has been very crisp clean and fresh to a fault and a delicious addition to my salad. I have never been disappointed in this product.

Turned slimy after one week in the veg. bin in fridge.
