best by date

I bought a carton of 3 for the great value and I knew it would last a long time. I picked them up from the store via curbside pickup on May 27th. The “best by” date is May 30th of this very year. So these are going to be at their freshest for only 3 days? I don’t like buying products that are no longer fresh. I would be great if expiration dates were checked

The package has flaws

The product isn’t necessarily bad, but I’m definitely not a fan of the packaging. Three standard cartons come inside a large cardboard box. The three cartons become more annoying to store and aren’t as sturdy because of this. I really prefer the Members Mark brand of this product and only purchase the Silk when MM is out of stock at my local store.
