[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this system because of the wi-fi cameras. I did not have the ability to run camera wires all the way back to the DVR. The DVR set up was easy and the cameras were easy to pair to that device. The Owl Protect app is easy to use and monitor when I'm not at home. The resolution of the video is nice and allows me to clearly see anyone approaching my home. I did need to pick up some power supply extention cords to get power to cameras because the cords on the power packs provided were not long enough for my installation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little cameras are awesome! Good quality picture and super easy to install. Love that you can control and see through my phone. I am using them on my garage and seem to do well in the dark as well. I would recommend if you are looking for security cameras.

You can use the cameras indoors or outdoors. Cameras give you a clear view during the day and at night with the nighttime vision. There are lights on the cameras that will come on with motion and also record the motion. Set up was fairly easy. One thing to note: you need to have your router and screen/tv that you plan on viewing with in the same room. This was the only thing that made the set up difficult. Also with that, you need to have the base hooked up to your router to get the view of the cameras on your phone. If you do not have the router and screen in the same room permanently you will need to choose whether to have the view of your cameras either on TV (not connected to router) or phone (router connected). When choosing what system to get I chose the one with the cameras that were not hard wired thinking that the cameras were wireless but they are WiFi wireless and they do need to be plugged in so you need to have the camera in reach of an outlet. That made placement of the cameras a bit difficult. When viewing the cameras on your phone you are able to have two way communication. There are multiple options on viewing the cameras that can be chosen with the mouse that is included in the set.

The audio and recording are independent. I like that I can view on my TV. The built in spotlights are bright. Very happy with my Night Owl.

This camera was great for my home. After I set it up it was easy to use. It took no time at all to learn how the app worked and I was up and running. The picture quality was great and I was able to use the audio feature to tell guy delivery a package to my house where to leave it. Great product!

I am beyond happy with this product. I used to pay high monthly contract fees to other company, only to be annoyed with constant false alarms . With night owl, it is top notch security at your fingertips. Super easy to install, a diy’s dream. Most important, a steal for such quality. It is without questions one of the best in the market. I am beyond happy to have chosen night owl product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow...talk about an easy setup. Took no time at all. The video quality is spot on. I think I struggled more getting this out of the box than I did setting it all up. Now I am wishing I had bought more cameras. I will have to see if I am able to add more cameras.

Easy set up with impressive picture quality very good camera coverage
