Backyard discovery Skyfort 3

We bought this backyard Skyfort 3 last fall. The quality of this unit was excellent very good materials and connections. We had one issue with a cracked piece which was promptly replaced with in a day with no problems. The unit has seen one winter with no fading or damage from snow and rain.

Great gift!

We bought this Skyfort as a Christmas present for my two little kiddos. We have already had neighbor kids come over and play and they all LOVE IT! we normally would have to drive to the park, but no more! It definitely can be assembled at home if you are confident in your building capabilities (my husband assembled ours) and save you some money but give yourselves a few days to do so!

Excellent addition, though some extra work needed

First off, the kids love it. Overall construction was easy, the manual stated 23 hours for 2 people. It took 8 hours with 2 people and about 10 with only me. There were a few steps that should've been moved earlier in the manual (i.e. boards going between other parts that were connected previously, this required loosening the earlier parts to fit the later part in snuggly). I did have to trim one of the roof boards, because it was assembled half an inch off. Only half the floor board holes lined up. 2 of the wall anchors ended up in the same space as floor joists (I verified all the impacted boards and it was a design issue). Overall I like it, but would have liked to see thicker lumber for the floor joists. It would also be nice to have an option to pay for an upgraded hardware kit (i.e. all stainless bolts and deck screws). It has survived multiple windstorms and sheds water really well. Overall, I'd recommend it.

Hours of play. A lot of value for the money.

I don’t really know how the assembly went—we hired a local company to do it for us. They did use the BILT app, so you may find that useful if you plan to DIY. The final product is phenomenal. My four-year-old loves it. Some of the reviews show this product with a balustrade and picnic table on the bottom but those aren’t included. That is a feature on the “Skyfort with a Tube Slide” and not a feature of the “Skyfort III.” The reviews for the two products are combined and it makes it confusing. Otherwise, I recommend this play set 100%.

great piece for the price

well made for the price, won't last as long as more expensive sets but neither will your kids' enthusiasm as they get older. lots of bells and whistles/ great aesthetic touches throughout. 2 man build time for me and my buddy was 17 hours, advise having a variety of extra screws around as they get tight towards the end

Fun and sturdy!

We bought this over the summer and are so happy with it. It comes with a lot of pieces and took a while to put together but it was totally worth it. Our kids love it and it’s really great quality. We hung the web swing that we already had so the swing pictured is not what comes with the set. The swing included is slightly smaller and black.

Skyfort with Tube Slide

I bought this last month for my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter. She LOVES it. The first thing she wants to do when she visits me is go outside and play on her new swing set. This is a great product. Made very well with such a variety of different activities. I shopped around and am so happy that I went with this company. They answered all my questions and were so great to work with. Very friendly, professional and well informed. They answered all my questions quickly and know their products. I highly recommend this company and this swing set.

Kids + adults love it!

The kids love all that there is to do...our kids love the double slides and crows nest! We often have 5-8 kids playing at a time and there’s plenty of room for everyone. The adults love that it’s high quality and looks nice! This is our second build-it-yourself playground and this one is a real winner! It took us two solid weekends to put it together, but all the parts were delivered and in good shape! We’ve had it for 3 months and it’s been a life-saver during this stay at home spring/summer.

Family Fun - From Construction to Use!

It can seem a little intimidating to build this yourself, but the packaging and instructions are very simple. No one in our family has construction experience, just Grandma/Pappa, Mom and Dad with anxious little ones eagerly awaiting lots of play time. The anchors have held the playset securely in 50-70 MPH gusts!

Great product! Kids love it!

This is a very nice play set! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Our kids (4 & 2) are loving it! My biggest suggestions are: 1) Use the BILT app!! It provides 3D images and directions that help tremendously. 2) Organization is key before you begin! Lay all the boards out in order and same for the bolts, screws, etc. This saves a lot of time. 3) Recruit a friend or two. I was able to build over 50% of it alone but the base of the fort, roof, swing beam, and tube slide require additional assistance. 4) Build the tube slide once it’s attached to the play set. I read a review where someone tackled the tube slide this way and it seemed easier. The tube slide is a PAIN! My husband almost threw in the towel at bolt #100! All in all, it’s a great set. Holes lined up well and we did not have any pieces of wood that were damaged. The wood will splinter/crack if you are not careful though. Good luck!! It’s worth the sweat, blood, and curse words. :)
