Easy to follow instructions and doesn't take a genius to put together. I did it by myself.

There was several bolts missing. I had to go out Lowe's three separate time for bolts and screw that weren't in the original packaging

This is a very nice looking pergola for the price. All the pieces arrived with no visible damage. All the ore-drilled holes lined up. The instructions were very easy to follow. I would recommend using a different drill bit than what came with it. The bit ended up snapping off. I purchased the add-on bar stool set which matches perfectly. The manufacture is really great to work with if you have any issues. My only foreseeable issue is with the snap-on canopy as speaking with the manufacturer they do not currently sale the canopy separately.

I love this pergola. The wood is beautiful and the bar space is a great addition. I hired a contractor to install it and I am glad that I did. The contractor had to drill holes because the pieces would not line up. The hardware that was included was wrong and was labeled for another item. I had to purchase hardware from Home Depot. In spite of the obstacles with the installation, I would definitely recommend this item. I am going to apply a clear coat to protect the wood. My family and I will be enjoying this for a long time.

Normally, DIY projects end in frustration for me - I am not much of a handyman... but the Charleston Pergola is a beautiful exception to the rule! The product is well engineered and the combination of a clear instruction manual and a *very* well done assembly video made putting it together a breeze. We look forward to many years of entertaining under our new pergola!

This pergola is smaller than I thought, and few pieces of the wood is cracked, and I thought the two stools are come with it.

Just purchased this pergola. LOVE IT! The installation was easy and it looks wonderful in our backyard! I love the bar feature and need to go back to get the matching bar stools!

My husband and I assembled this pergola in approximately 16 hours. All the pieces were clearly marked and the instructions were easy to follow. We are very happy with the finished product.

Excellent design, instructions and very solid. Couldn't be happier..except for one thing. The sunshade is not water resistant. Even the slightest drizzle comes through the shade. But still love it!! Looking at putting tin roof on the structure.
