We really like this fan and would have given the fan 5 stars if it would have the position of pointing down to the floor more. As it is, its lowest position, on our fan, is slightly upward, almost straight outward. I like how quiet it is and that it has a remote to control the speed and to turn on/off. I recommend it if you don't actually need the fan to aim toward the floor.

I really like this fan. It has 12 levels of speed. Of course the slower the speed the quieter it is. It oscillates and has a timer and a remote. The only thing I don't care for is it always comes on at full blast but I haven't tried to see if there's a way to change that.

H*ck yeah this fan is great. I need to replace my old fan that just doesn't kick the same anymore, and this one blows it away. plus it really is quiet, and has 12 different speeds. the remote is cool too, it's got a little hook thing at the top so you can do something with it.

I was sold by the Lasko name and the assured quiet operation. This fan is nearly all plastic, and not the sturdy kind of plastic either. It assembles easily, and quickly, but it is unbalanced and the blades are the cheapest I have ever seen. How do they charge over $10 for this thing? Not at all as quiet as advertised. My old Lasko all metal shop fan is just as quiet and built like a tank for just a few dollars more. Will not angle down. Returning.
