My only qualms if I had to point any out is that there is some distortion past the 80% volume on my Moto G stylus but other than that its a great bang for your buck speaker!

The base on this thing hits extremely low gerat quality. The fact One of the best speakers ive heard. Lots of great sound. Very crisp with solid deep base. Great for any occasion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little speaker is incredibly versatile. It just seems to be the perfect size to go and be everywhere I want it to. I can set it just about anywhere while I’m working on my vehicle. I have a hook near my desk so I can use it while I’m studying. I can even loop the strap through a shower ring if I want music in the shower. And on top of all of it, it sounds amazing and has amazing battery life. I couldn’t be more pleased with it.

Setting it up with my phone was a breeze, the sound quality is great. I was stunned that sucha compact speaker would pack such great sound quality and not to mention bass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was absolutely shocked with the sound that comes from this speaker. One of my requirements for all of my audio devices is that it has to have a lot of bass; and it definitely has the sound. The size is also a big plus for me since I like to keep my speaker with me when I travel, it fits not only in my backpack but it also fits in my purse. We do a lot of traveling as well as camping so having a speaker that is rechargeable and IPX7 waterproof is going to be super handy. All in all I am 100% pleased with the Flip Essential 2 speaker and I have already been recommending it to my family and friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, the FlipEssentials2 is just another great product from JBL Harman. I've owned a number of the Flip series and I think this is my favorite. Completely portable, IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth 5.1 and 10 hours playtime! Also, only 3 hours or less to full charge! Thankfully the charge cable is now USB-C. Thank you. Note there is No charger, just cable. Sound is surprisingly good for a 1 lb speaker. 20W and 65Hz-20kHz frequency response for the nerdy. If you want big boy bass, get a bigger speaker. Overall, this little portable has great sound. Very well constructed and you can feel the quality. You won't be afraid to take this product with you outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Essential Flip 2 is PERFECT. Used for cleaning the house, at the beach with a group of friends, and my favorite- out on the golf course. It has PERFECT range for both carts to hear while stepping out to hit the ball. Great bass, connection is fantastic, and charge lasts for a long time. Four hours connected, and still jamming almost at the halfway battery mark. Highly recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The JBL Flip Essential 2 delivers a deceptively big sound for being in a small package. This paired with it being waterproof makes it perfect for summer gatherings. It has a sleek design and the added rope loop allow for this speaker to easily be where the party is. However, the battery life could be longer as 10 hours sometimes just won’t cover a full day of fun. Also, I would have appreciated the ability to tether this speaker to other JBL products and allow for multiple people to connect to it at the same time. Those added features and an extended battery life would have made this the ultimate party speaker. However, at this price point, those missing features are understandable and certainly don’t take away from this speaker’s attractiveness to consumers looking for a cost-effective option for sound amplification.

The speaker feels especially nice for someone who likes to sing along to their music, because the vocal range sounds like the primary feature to me. The bass and treble are okay, but the vocal ramge is so clear and nice... Overall it seems like a very sturdy product. I'll probably take it with me hiking this summer!
