[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, the FlipEssentials2 is just another great product from JBL Harman. I've owned a number of the Flip series and I think this is my favorite. Completely portable, IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth 5.1 and 10 hours playtime! Also, only 3 hours or less to full charge! Thankfully the charge cable is now USB-C. Thank you. Note there is No charger, just cable. Sound is surprisingly good for a 1 lb speaker. 20W and 65Hz-20kHz frequency response for the nerdy. If you want big boy bass, get a bigger speaker. Overall, this little portable has great sound. Very well constructed and you can feel the quality. You won't be afraid to take this product with you outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flip 3 Essential is awesome! This device is full sound in a compact mobile speaker. The Bass is amazing and does not drown out the Highs and Mids and it all sounds fantastic throughout the range of volume. This unit has sounds that you would expect out of a speaker twice this size. The battery life is very good as well, lasting up to 9 to 10 hours at various volume levels. The design is impressive as well, the exterior of the speaker feels very nice to handle when on the go, and it has a nice weight to it. The portable feels like a higher priced item with its materials and construction. The USB-C Charging is also great, so I don’t need numerous amount of different cables while on the go. Overall, it’s a great portable speaker for on the go. Whether at the office, in the yard, by the pool or working at an outdoor job site, the Flip 3 Essential will not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flip Essential 2 is compact and portable but good (if not great) things come in small packages! No disappointments with the Flip 2 and its concert like sound from a nearly 7 inch waterproof speaker! The speaker comes in a sturdy yet colorful package with all manuals, speaker with attached carry cord, and required USB-A to USB-C charger cord. Everything here is needed to start a small concert experience wherever you may go. The small but potent speaker is optimal for days at the park or anywhere but really shines as a go-to essential for beach, lake, or pool days as this unit is waterproof as well! Unit connects and receives signal from any device that transmits via Bluetooth such as cell phones or other Bluetooth able audio devices. Once charged the unit delivers 10 hours of enjoyment with just over a 3 hour charge time. The battery charge level is indicated with a series of micro LEDs near the power button. The frame of the speaker is light and compact but also 'slip' resistant with the rubber edges. The Flip 2 offers dynamic 20W sound that fills any room or outdoor gathering! The Pro Sound that JBL offers is nothing short of amazing as usual with all JBL products. The bass is strong and the highs are crisp. The compactness of the speaker does limit the ultra low bass that some JBL products offer (down to 65hz) but is still punchy and pleasant. The speaker is IPX7 Water Proof and designed to withstand beach days, pool parties, and even the occasional rain shower if your outdoor gathering is interrupted with a passing storm. In closing the Flip 2 offers all of the quality sound that we've come to expect and love from JBL. A great addition to any picnic basket or outdoor party kit where music shapes the event and mood! We used the unit on a local fishing trip and other people on the boat could not believe the sound emitted from this compact beast! A true asset to the JBL lineup and well worth every penny!

The speaker feels especially nice for someone who likes to sing along to their music, because the vocal range sounds like the primary feature to me. The bass and treble are okay, but the vocal ramge is so clear and nice... Overall it seems like a very sturdy product. I'll probably take it with me hiking this summer!

This was new. My last jbl stopped charging after 8 months of use so i got this one new as a gift for Christmas. 2 months later i woke up to this constantly turning on and off, no matter what you do to do the power button it’d keep doing it. It had gone rogue, you could say. It was to the point i had i to put it had outside. Don’t get this product, because i have random Chinese speakers that last 20 years and suck compared to this garbage brand that can’t even last me 1 year. Thanks jbl, you suck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big sound in a little package. I couldn't believe how full this tiny speaker sounds. I used it in my 30X40 garage and it filled the place with sound. Crisp highs tight mid's and good bass to be so small. This is an improvement from the other flip essential. Also this thing is water proof it will be great to take to the beach or have around the pool. We were out at the pool bar the other night and were listening to it and a shower of rain came, we left it out and it kept playing and sounded amazing. The battery life is suppose to be 10 hours and I know I have listened to it longer than that and it is still on its first charge. Highly recommend this little speaker for the portability the great sound quality and the fact it is water proof. Quality JBL product great value for the price.

My only qualms if I had to point any out is that there is some distortion past the 80% volume on my Moto G stylus but other than that its a great bang for your buck speaker!

The base on this thing hits extremely low gerat quality. The fact One of the best speakers ive heard. Lots of great sound. Very crisp with solid deep base. Great for any occasion.

Setting it up with my phone was a breeze, the sound quality is great. I was stunned that sucha compact speaker would pack such great sound quality and not to mention bass.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little speaker is incredibly versatile. It just seems to be the perfect size to go and be everywhere I want it to. I can set it just about anywhere while I’m working on my vehicle. I have a hook near my desk so I can use it while I’m studying. I can even loop the strap through a shower ring if I want music in the shower. And on top of all of it, it sounds amazing and has amazing battery life. I couldn’t be more pleased with it.
