The sound quality on this speaker is amazing. It sounds like you are listening to a full size speaker. The battery last a long time. I did a 9 hole golf course 4 times around and the speaker was only missing one light. It was about 4-5 hours of playing music straight. While walking to the ball from shot to shot I didn’t lose connection to the speaker the whole time. I would purchase this speaker again and recommend this speaker to everyone to buy.

This is the 3rd JBL speaker I've owned. On all of them I have been very impressed for the sound quality as related to the cost. Paid $70 for this one. It has a very clear sound and a bit more bass than my Flip 4. I've used it for about a month. I do wish JBL would add this to the speakers supported by the JBL Portable app. I've used that app to make some changes on the Flip 4 and I am disappointed that this speaker is not supported.

This jbl speaker holds its own its great the sound is amazing and for 40 dollars its a steal great deal

perfect little portable speaker

I couldn't pass up this doorbuster special to get this high quality, great sounding speaker for 50% off. One of the best deals ever especially since my old bluetooth speaker could no longer hold a charge. Great timing.

I expected more volume and charge doesn’t last as long as advertised. But it puts out enough if it’s a group sitting under an umbrella on the beach just don’t expect to hear it at a pickleball game

The speaker felt like it was made very well, and for the brief time I was able to use it, the sound quality was good. I quickly realized the buttons were not working so I was unable to control the volume from the speaker. Also, I was unable to put the speaker into pair mode to connect to another device. I ended up returning this product for a refund. Had the buttons on the speaker functioned properly, I would have given it 5 stars for its size, solid feel and sound quality. For what it's worth, this was my first return of a Sam's Club purchase, and I had zero problems getting a refund.

The sound isn't as clear as my last speaker; it sounds a bit canned. Also, it cuts out during use, at least once or more depending how long I use it and I have to restart it.

The sound quality and dimensions are perfect. The battery only lasted four and a half hours at 50% volume... about three hours at a higher volume but less than 75% volume. Tech support response "The published up-to playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try this experiment: Charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity"
