Thanks for your feedback. Many devices now default to Absolute Volume, but can be changed to Independent Volume in the device settings. If your device is currently set to Independent Volume, it is possible that one or both of the volume settings are set too low to give you adequate volume. Try adjusting the device volume to 75%-100% and adjust the volume of your JBL Flip Essential 2 to your desired level. Next, forget/unpair the speaker on your device and perform manual pairing. You may also try connecting the speaker to a different device (phone/tablet/music player/etc). Last is reset, turn on the speaker, then press and hold "Volume +" and "Play" for more than 3 seconds. The speaker will turn off and reboot to factory default. You may need to 'forget' the speaker in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again.
