I love the sound that comes out of this speaker.

The JBL is not easy to connect to the device.

Factory said battery life is 10 hours. Unfortunately they lied. It 6 hours only

I got this for Christmas, excellent speaker. The tech specs are amazing, it handles the bass so good!

Being waterproof does not seem to cause any issues with the quality of the sound. I was concerned about that prior to purchasing the speaker.

Great little speaker. Sadly the battery life on my speaker is very short. Just my luck. Going to return it to my Sam's very soon.

My cellphone is louder than this jbl, the bargain price says everything about it, tried listening in a bedroom and didn’t wowed me, but then again is my opinion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flip 3 Essential is awesome! This device is full sound in a compact mobile speaker. The Bass is amazing and does not drown out the Highs and Mids and it all sounds fantastic throughout the range of volume. This unit has sounds that you would expect out of a speaker twice this size. The battery life is very good as well, lasting up to 9 to 10 hours at various volume levels. The design is impressive as well, the exterior of the speaker feels very nice to handle when on the go, and it has a nice weight to it. The portable feels like a higher priced item with its materials and construction. The USB-C Charging is also great, so I don’t need numerous amount of different cables while on the go. Overall, it’s a great portable speaker for on the go. Whether at the office, in the yard, by the pool or working at an outdoor job site, the Flip 3 Essential will not disappoint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, the FlipEssentials2 is just another great product from JBL Harman. I've owned a number of the Flip series and I think this is my favorite. Completely portable, IPX7 waterproof, Bluetooth 5.1 and 10 hours playtime! Also, only 3 hours or less to full charge! Thankfully the charge cable is now USB-C. Thank you. Note there is No charger, just cable. Sound is surprisingly good for a 1 lb speaker. 20W and 65Hz-20kHz frequency response for the nerdy. If you want big boy bass, get a bigger speaker. Overall, this little portable has great sound. Very well constructed and you can feel the quality. You won't be afraid to take this product with you outside!
