This castle was one of my all time favorite builds I have ever done. The pieces were fun and the directions were fun. The outcome is amazing it's a big build that was worth every second and penny. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this build to any harry potter/lego fan. Thank you for this castle Lego!

A wonderful and magical build. What was so great about this build is the use of so many pieces in unique ways. Lots of hidden features. It was a good idea to build it in sections so it wasn't boring building the base first. It was an excellent price as well.

I had a blast building this set and, it looks great on display once built. If you don't have the space or budget for the larger hogwarts castle I highly recommend this set. I hope lego continues to do sets like this with other licensed ips. Minas Tirith from The Lord of the Rings would be awesome in this scale.

Every detail is perfect, and it all comes together so well. You just start building and before you know it you've got a full castle. The techniques used in building it are really fun and give tons of support around the whole structure. It's awesome too as a big Harry Potter fan having all of the different easter eggs. 10/10 build for me, wish I could do it again

The bigger and more expansive verison has ton of detials but it didn't fully gave 360 outlook of the hogwarts but this one did really brought the wholesome package of Hogwarts Castle. I had ton of fun building it and this is a great display to my collection

I was very excited to receive my set exactly on the 1st of September. I love the original castle but did not purchase because of its enormous size (not knowing where I could place it). Needless to say, seeing that lego was putting out a smaller version I was stoked. However, my building experience has been totally ruined as there was a total of almost 30 pieces missing to the set. I found myself having to undo what I built in order to tediously count and compare them to the table of contents. I am now waiting on a shipping confirmation for my replacement pieces as the others rest in a sorting bucket. Huge disappointment to say nonetheless.

This was, simply put, perhaps the most fun Lego build of my adult life. The detail is fantastic, as many have said. But I truly love how the build itself takes you on a little journey through Hogwarts, taking a page or few to focus on finished elements with fun facts. The final product is truly display worthy and a very fun piece to show of to friends and family. Don't hesitate to buy this if you've been eyeing it!

Got this as a gift after thinking about buying it for a while, this is a truly an amazing set. The size is perfect for display, not too big, not too small. Takes a lot of time to build, which is great because the building is not repetitive and the details are fun to put together. The only kind of negative things I would mention are: the prints on smaller windows are slightly even, and the bridges' pillars are a bit wobbly, which is a bit annoying when building it (but does not change anything once built).

I do not write many reviews, I've done many 18+ and model like sets including most of the Lego architecture sets... So like many of you - having things aligned and little 1x1 is very tedious and important to the overall aesthetic. Whomever created these instructions clearly doesn't care about alignments. So many stacked small pieces they have you build in a terrible order. Example: instead of building a stack of 4 1x1 tiles, they'll have you attach one by one to the base model and try to stack on the base plate. Also found instructions are missing a few pieces in the inventory box but show up in the photo - be very careful. Overall looks great when it's done - but be prepared for 22 bags of very very small pieces with poor instructions. Agent Michael Scorn.

What a fun set! The entire build was full of surprises and storytelling. I had seen a few advertisements about this set but nothing mentioned all the nooks and crannies and easter eggs in the set. I only bought the set to have a small scale model to set next to my larger MOC but this set turned out to be one of my favorite sets to build.
