Perfectly scaled, detailed version of Hogwarts castle. Great display for smaller spaces. A lot of small pieces but great fun to build. The only thing missing is the Quidditch pitch! Think I'll add that on myself... definitely would highly recommend this set for any Harry Potter collector.

What a fun set! The entire build was full of surprises and storytelling. I had seen a few advertisements about this set but nothing mentioned all the nooks and crannies and easter eggs in the set. I only bought the set to have a small scale model to set next to my larger MOC but this set turned out to be one of my favorite sets to build.

I thoroughly enjoyed this build. There are countless intricate details packed into this set which I loved to see as a lifelong Harry Potter fan. This set is the perfect size for displaying and fits wonderfully on my bookshelves. A few things I did notice: 1) Some of the instructions are slightly off. There were a couple of instances where a step indicated a piece was needed but the corresponding diagram didn't have that piece or vice versa. In addition, some of Harry Potter facts throughout are incorrect. 2) This set is missing a couple of elements of the Castle, namely the Hospital Wing Tower, Covered Bridge, and Owlery. It also would have been lovely to have a microscale Hagrid's Hut and Quidditch Pitch built into the set, although the GWP does slightly compensate for the latter. It is still a relatively realized model of the Castle and a lovely set for any Harry Potter fan.

This was, simply put, perhaps the most fun Lego build of my adult life. The detail is fantastic, as many have said. But I truly love how the build itself takes you on a little journey through Hogwarts, taking a page or few to focus on finished elements with fun facts. The final product is truly display worthy and a very fun piece to show of to friends and family. Don't hesitate to buy this if you've been eyeing it!

Loved the building experience. The guides were easy to follow with only 2 minor printing issues in regards to either a piece missing or extra in the step but easy enough to figure out. I did have 1 piece missing in the kit but Lego has a great customer service for missing parts replacement. The only thing I wish would be included would be an extra flat black border piece to replace where you don't put the architect. My OCD doesn't like the piece with the 2 notches not being used. Either it should be a flat piece or have something else on top.

My husband and I adore Legos and we truly adore Harry Potter. We have all of the big Harry Potter Lego sets and we're so excited to add this to our collection. It is a fantastic set that I love and have proudly displayed, but I will say that this was the first time ever that we saw not just one, but several misprints in the book. It went from one step to another not showing a certain piece but somehow magically that piece was already placed on the next page. Luckily, we are very experienced builders and got it figured out. But we triple checked and this was not us being confused, several of our friends caught the misprints as well and I hope they don't discourage or challenge any new builders too much. But overall, I adore this set and can't wait to build more.

My family got this set from my older sister this past Christmas, and my siblings and I worked on it together! It was fun to build, and reignited my love for Lego! The set wasn't too difficult to build, but not so easy that it wasn't a challenge! And as a Harry Potter fan, seeing the castle come to life before my eyes made me feel like a little kid! I would highly recommend this set for anyone looking for an enjoyable, semi-complicated set! Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the completed set looked INCREDIBLE!

I'm a HP enthusiast and love all things HP especially Lego! When I saw this new set was coming out it was perfect. It's just the right size and the whole castle but at a lower price point. My 10 year old son is the builder in the family. This took him about 7 hours to complete the build. We live this Lego and it is now proudly on display in our living room. We really enjoyed all the facts that were included in the instruction book.

This castle was one of my all time favorite builds I have ever done. The pieces were fun and the directions were fun. The outcome is amazing it's a big build that was worth every second and penny. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this build to any harry potter/lego fan. Thank you for this castle Lego!

I had a lot of fun building this set and it displays amazingly to me, it was fun, but I was missing a few pieces. I even had to shave down a plate to make another piece fit, because i had the wrong one. And a few times I found the book to not show the steps very well, but outside of that, it was great :) (below are the photos i took of the ONLY PIECE i had left, which is the incorrect one, so they sent the wrong piece, and the brick i shaved to fix it.)
