Wished I Would Have Read the Web Reviews First

I returned it because watching a standard DVD in a bluray player looked very noisy. Especially B&W discs. Various programs on various channels "1080 TiVo", looked different depending on the channel you were watching. Local news, color looked faded out, but switch to another channel and the color was too strong. Using the OTA tuner, same result. Washed out or too strong color. I would attempt calibrating each input but was never satisfied w/the picture. And I never generally adjust a TV endlessly like I did w/this one. One YouTube reviewer said "It will look great in the store but the picture won't look anything like that when you get it home". He was definitely correct. So I returned it and purchased an extremely well-rated Hisense from that other member club; eh-hemmm. Same size 65", unboxed it got it up and running and I never touched, modified, or adjusted ANY "picture" controls. Picture to me looked great on all inputs And, the Hisense has a built in sub-woofer, great sound. And the same member perk, an extra 3 year Allstate warranty for free. Sorry Vizio, I wanted to love it, but just didn't work out. Not sure why this TV on Sams Club is rated so well. And the Vizio energy tag idicated $120/year energy consumption while the Hisense only consumed $50/year. Huge difference. Side note: After purchasing I made the mistake of visiting RTINGS.com There, about every TV you can imagine is reviewed. And, very detailed in the reviews. Even test bench readings etc. On that site, it gathered information that the Vizio Quantum Pro had been recommended twice. The Hisense had been recommended 18 times on various review web sites. Plus the Hisense has an ATSC 3.0 tuner that capable of receiving 4k resolution local broadcasts when available. The local channels I saw on the Hisense, one had interactive information along w/a news crawl line at the bottom of the picuture not normally seen with just the standard ATSC tuner. If you do return it, keep the box, they need it to scan the bar code on the box.
