The blades suck

All other Venus razors are awesome but these one do not do the trick! You have to go over one spot multiple times because the lip of the lotion strip is in the way of the razor making contact with the skin.

I needed to replace an older Venus razor and was in a hurry. Didn't really look at the design until I got home. Since I didn't have time to return it and choose another razor, I went ahead and opened the package and took the new razor with me on a trip. The gel soap bubbles on each side of the razor definitely are not necessary and irritated my skin as I shaved. I ended up giving the entire package to a sister. I will go back to my Venus Quattro.

I lke this razor. The handle is comfortable to use and the 3 blade razor head pivots. The gel bars help the razor glide smoothly, shave closely and leave my skin feeling soft. The white tea scent isn't too strong. I love not having to lather up before shaving and it saves time. The down side is that the gel bars can feel slimey and not last super long. It definitely helps to store the razor upright so it dries.

3 blades gives a decently close shave. Lubricating strips allow the shaver to glide effortlessly across the skin. I've never had a problem getting accidentally cut. My husband occasionally uses them for a quick head and other area shave. He says they dont shave as close as a 5 blade. But he can shave so much faster without worrying about cutting himself.

The first couple of shaves are ok if you can deal with the comfortglide barrier around the blades that gets gummy and slimy. Afterwards the blades start to cut your skin going over your shins or anywhere that bones protrude. Only 3 blades vs the 5 that many men’s razors come with. Will not recommend or repurchase.
