I had a Fellowes shredder that stopped working after two years. Searching for a multiple page shredder that could perform continuous shredding, I purchased the Member's Mark Shredder. It works GREAT!!! I've shredded 5 full bins of paper so far. If the machine needs to cool off, it will pause for a very short time (shortest wait time of any shredder). I purchased the lubricating oil with the shredder to make sure the gears stay working. I use the oil, as suggested, every time I dump the full bin. It's quieter than the average shredder, works fast to shred multiple papers, and compared to the Fellowes shredder it's top notch! I highly recommend this shredder.

It doesn't do well with the 12 sheets it's rated for. If paper is thick, maybe five pages. I have had mine since April 2021. It has worked good using it to shred a couple sheets now and then. But the last two days I was doing some serious shredding. I would shred about six sheets of thicker paper and shred for about ten minutes and stop. I used a couple lubricant sheets from Staples as directed. All of a sudden the forward shred started doing hesitation cutting. Reverse worked fine. I let it set overnight but it did the same thing next day using one sheet of paper. I bought the extended three year warranty but I don't know if that gives me until April 2025 or if it started day one even though I believe there is a one year warranty with product.

ive never used this thing to its full potential, meaning ive never put up to the 12 pages before but about a month ago, ill go to put paper in it and it will surge. it will shred an inch then die then power up and shred another inch and die again and it will keep doing that till the sheet is all gone. i dont know why or what to do! i cant return it cause its past the 90 days.

I took a chance purchasing this shredder and really didn't think I would need the insurance, the shredder is already malfunctioning with little usage. It shreds then stops, then shreds some more and then stops as if there's an electrical short. I would not recommend this shredder to anyone. Now seeing more reviews from others having the very same problem Sam's Club should address the problem by replacing these poorly manufactured shredders with quality ones that your customers deserve.

I bought this yesterday and tried it out. It’s quiet and can handle the load. If something gets stuck it will either reverse automatically or it will continue to shred at a slower rate. A bit at a time. The motor also has a blower fan to help exhaust the heat. There are also two power switches which I think comes in handy since I have a toddler.

Purchased 3 shredders at the same time. Two of them work without any issues, while the third can barely shred 3 papers at a time. Most times only 1-2 pages can be shredded at a time before the "overload" button pops up. Kind of nuts for a shredder that states it can shred up to 12 pages at a time.

This is, in many ways, the worst shredder I have ever owned. at the supported level of 12 sheets of paper it will jam. Today, after only a few months of use it no longer will shred. Hoping Sam's has a resolution to this recent purchase, but hopefully not another one. Not recommended at all.

I bought this about a month ago and have been shredding regularly. It works so well, but lately, it has been shredding in segments, and not going continuously. Maybe I need to add oil to it or something. But it's really awesome...love having it. Excellent value too!

Love that it has wheels to roll out from under the desk when needed. Never knew that you needed to lubricant the shredder. Comes with one sheet, so I called the customer service number and asked where to buy more sheet's had to laugh Amazon. Think sheets will be a better option than the oil. This is my fourth shredder; I think this is the last one hopefully.
