I bought this yesterday and tried it out. It’s quiet and can handle the load. If something gets stuck it will either reverse automatically or it will continue to shred at a slower rate. A bit at a time. The motor also has a blower fan to help exhaust the heat. There are also two power switches which I think comes in handy since I have a toddler.

I had a Fellowes shredder that stopped working after two years. Searching for a multiple page shredder that could perform continuous shredding, I purchased the Member's Mark Shredder. It works GREAT!!! I've shredded 5 full bins of paper so far. If the machine needs to cool off, it will pause for a very short time (shortest wait time of any shredder). I purchased the lubricating oil with the shredder to make sure the gears stay working. I use the oil, as suggested, every time I dump the full bin. It's quieter than the average shredder, works fast to shred multiple papers, and compared to the Fellowes shredder it's top notch! I highly recommend this shredder.

ive never used this thing to its full potential, meaning ive never put up to the 12 pages before but about a month ago, ill go to put paper in it and it will surge. it will shred an inch then die then power up and shred another inch and die again and it will keep doing that till the sheet is all gone. i dont know why or what to do! i cant return it cause its past the 90 days.

Great buy & cross cut. The love the side removing bin, and lights that signal full bin and overheat etc. Says it lasts 30 min w/o overheating, so I tested & it's true. Exactly what I was looking for w\o the hefty price tag. In the past, I've pd $25 for ones that burn out and can't keep up. This is great for home office.

Worked fine until it stopped doing its job in less than a year!!

I bought this a couple of days ago. I have to return it since it lasted all of 1/2 a day.

My old one was a toy compared to this. Exceeded my expectations. Quiet and efficient

Shredder starts and stops during shredding. Did not last a year. Very disappointing.
