[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, all my kids love Pokemon ages 21-9. However, I picked this Pokemon Mega set up for my nine year old daughter. This is for ages 7 and up, and she was able to assemble most of the characters by herself. She required assistance with some steps but big sister and brother were more than willing to help. It's nice that the box comes with a trio of figures. It's even nicer that she can pose them or play as she sees fit. There are 583 pieces total and I am not totally sure if a step was missed, but there were a few spare pieces after the build. This box came with Pikachu, Pickup, and Eevee. They are about three inches tall and their colors pop. I don't know if she will separate the set but you certainly could. Now we have to find others to add to the collection.

There is enough for the kids to each get to pick their favorite character and build it. There is a lot of peices and a lot of steps so be prepared to have patience and a lot of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old put this together pretty much by herself. She did have trouble with a couple of pieces so I helped her. She liked that the ears move once it’s put together. The instructions are easy to follow and the pieces are separated into bags so you know what pieces go together.

I bought this for my daughter for Easter. She was so excited to put it together. Within the first 2 steps of assembling one of the characters we were missing a piece so I returned it and bought another one thinking it was just the box. Once we got home we opened the second box and started putting the same character together. This time we had all the pieces for the character, but not for another character. They put the wrong piece in the bag. We ended up using a different piece that worked, but it wasn’t the right color or the same piece. I am not happy that pieces were missing and that I had to return it. I would have returned this box, but now I’m too far in to return it in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall my boys liked this Mega Pokemon Building Kit. They loved the characters, the fact the steps were in numbered bags and the ease of figuring out who got what parts. The kits look great when complete as well. Down sides for us is though we loved the box with the different compartments with photos we didn’t figure it out until we opened the box completely wrong so would have like to see an “open here” spot. The finished product wasn’t as big as we thought there would be so maybe a “not actually size” disclaimer. As for the build itself there were a few steps that could have been clearer. Some of the pieces were hard to get together and even after getting them together they just didn’t sit “right” not flush or wouldn’t set down all the way. Overall my boys really enjoyed the build and the final product.
