I was excited about this set for my professionally color treated hair. I'll start by saying that I love the fragrance and the large pump bottles. Great price savings at Sam's Club, too. However, just using the shampoo 1 time only, I found that my hair didn't like it. Here's the reasons: Globs of hair was left between my fingers and hands as I was rinsing the shampoo out, and my hair felt like 'stretched elastic' while wringing the water out. Also, I found that the color of my hair faded a lot from just that one use, and not at all vibrant or shiny. I can't say anything about the conditioner to review my experience– as I didn't use it. A day later, I visited the hair salon, and I told my stylist what happened. She said the ingredients may have contained too much protein for my hair, and to stop using it. So, 1st time ever- I decided to splurge a little more and buy professional salon shampoo and conditioner from her. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it only cost me $20 more. She said that she sells it at cost to her clients and instead of pocketing profit, she passes the savings on to us as "a thank you for your business". Actually, the bottles of the shampoo and conditioner were 7 ounces larger, too! So, I got more bang for my buck to keep my hair healthy and strong! Win win!
