Santoku knives

The set of Santoku knives are very good. They are a great size 7 inches long with a nice handle for a secure grip. I used it for cutting vegetables and it made the job very quick. I love that the blade is stainless steel! I will use them most days in my meal preparation.

Very nice knife

These knives are very sharp and get the job done. I really like the large thick handles because they give you better control of the knife. I have washed them several times and I'm happy to say there is no rust on the blade. If you're looking for a sturdy solid blade this knife delivers.

Great affordable knives

The two pack Santoku knives are amazing, these knives are good quality and affordable. The knives have a nice balanced weight which make them easy to use, little effort to cut or chop. They are dishwasher safe but recommended for hand washing which was a good method to prevent any damage to the blades. The knives seem very durable while still having a sleek look that could even be stored or used in a butcher block holder. A good buy especially since there are two high quality knives in the pack, I'm planning to use one for my home kitchen and the other in my mobile home for grilling.

Good design, Very Sharp, Worth the investment!

I was delightfully surprised by these knives, especially in terms of their design, sturdiness and construction. They felt great in the hand and provided excellent aeration between the knife and the object being cut. The handle grip is comfortable for cutting, and the knives have a nice weight to them. They're lightweight, yet with sharp blades that slice and dice to perfection. The handle is smooth, and the sharpness is perfect. They were also well-packaged.

Super sharp!

The product was delivered and the knives were a little damaged. The packaging wasn’t secure and the knives were scuffed. However, the knives are sharp! They cut with precision. Never once did I feel like I was going to cut myself, the handle provides great control!

Knives arebig, sharp, and cut well

Knives are a nice size, nice weight in the hand, and plenty sharp. They cut through our dinnertime vegetables and meats with ease. I'm not a knife expert; however, they seem like a good quality product for the price. If you don't have this style knife in your drawer already, this will be a good addition.

Great set!

This is a great set to have! Very sturdy and sharp, large knives that make cutting quick and easy. Only complaint is that the knives are so large that they don't fit in my stand with my other ones. They are great to have but hard to store.

Lovely sharp knives

These knives are pretty great. Came sharp and seem to hold their edge well. Handles are comfortable, and the blade hasn't stained yet. Definitely be careful - got a small cut brushing the back of a finger against the blade grabbing utensils off the drying rack!

Two great santoku knives

First off, I'm no chef. But I tend to enjoy cutting up fruit and vegetables in my non-chef-like way. And the kind of knife I love using is a santoku knife. I already had 2 others before getting these, but they were smaller ones. I anticipate these becoming the ones I use most because of their size, handle, and sharpness. As you know, this is a 2-pack of 7 inch santoku knifes. Do I need 2 of the same size? Probably not. But it is nice to have 2 around in case you're needing to prepare different types of foods and don't want to have to clean the knife between them. Like, for instance, if you're needing to cut up meat and vegetables. Honestly though, I don't know that I need two. That's one of the only negatives that I was able to come up with for this product - that you get 2 and may not need them both. The other negative that I came up with is a bit of a stretch, but because it is so big, it can be unnecessarily big for cutting smaller fruits and vegetables. Aside from all of that, I love these knives. Admittedly, I haven't had them long, so I don't know how resilient they'll be or how frequently they may need to be sharpened. But the handle is comfortable and the blade is nice and sharp. It slides right through tougher vegetables, and also glides smoothly through gentler fruit like when slicing tomatoes. I tend to freeze bread and wind up having butt ends to the loaves that are too wide to fit into the toaster; yet I was able to quickly and easily cut a frozen butt end of a loaf of bread into neat slices as well. I'd personally recommend these knives as long as you can get them at a good price. They seem to be a good enough quality, very sharp, versatile, and with comfortable grips.

Decent

These are a great size but the blades dull quickly. I used one, freshly cleaned from the box for 3 onions, 3 bell peppers and 5 tomatoes. By the second tomato, the blade stopped slicing through the skin. It’s great for meat and cheese, but not so much for skinned produce.
