The Fellowes powershred oil has helped me keep my shredder blades sharp and well lubricated avoiding dull confetti cuts that would allow easy access to personal information. The price,not including shipping charges, well worth the investment obtaining this 12oz bottle. It's easy to use , just cut the spout's tip off and apply as needed.

After recently purchasing two Fellowes Powershredders for our office. I got the lubricant to maintain the blades. This really helps to keep the paper from sticking to the blades and keeps the entire machine running smoothly. It also helps to keep the paperdust that remains after shredding from becoming imbedded between the blades.

I searched everywhere for the best price on this product because I did not want to pay a lot for it. Wal-Mart had the best price! Other reviewers suggested putting some of this product in a junk mail envelope and then running that through your shredder for the best results and I agree. This is the best way to use this product and keep your shredder blade in tip-top condition. I purchased this product to extend the life of my new shredder, but found that it restored life to my old shredder too.

Have had my shredder for about 10 years now, and bought that at Walmart too. Recently the paper has been getting jammed and causing "aruckus". This helped make everything run smoothly again. I will be now using it at least once a month, b/c I use my shredder so much. Oh, and a little goes a long way.

The very brief user manual for my new Fellowes 8MC shredder makes no mention of using lubricating oil or any maintenance of any type. ________________________I only found this product and oiling recommendations because My old shredder blades got dull. Online research showed blades should be lubricated regularly and sometimes could be sharpened with aluminum foil or special sharpening paper.________________________So why does Fellowes omit this information from the shredder product box, and user manual???????

It is good oil and much less expensive then using the preoiled shredder sheets. I did as one man suggested and oiled an old document from the top down and let the oil drip down into the fold and shred the oiled paper.Tthe oil is not sticky and works wonders.

If you have a shredder, you have to invest in shredder oil. I am sure BRAND in this case does not matter. Shredder can be expensive, Shredder Oil is not. Does what is suppose to at a great price. Got this with free shipping, showed up two days later.

I had to return this item. I bought the Royal 10 sheet cross-cut paper shredder and read in a review of this product that someone bought this oil lubricant to use on the shredder blades. So I bought it thinking you needed to use this on the blades to lubricate them. But once I got the shredder and saw no mention in the manual that it needed oiling, I called the service 800 number and asked about that. I was told that you NEVER use oil on this shredder or on the blades. So I returned it.
